Because of an error in booking, we had to book a place close to central for 1 night (7 hours). So we booked it thinking we just need to sleep over. Rooms were very small for the price we paid. Since we stayed overnight, shared bathrooms were not a problem as whenever we went, we did not find anyone else....

We originally booked to stay here for two weeks but left after one night! There was no hot water, the tv didn't work, then room stunk and worst of all the long term residents who were completely inconsiderate and selfish. They kept us up until 4am even after been told several times to be quiet. Worse place I've stayed in...

Yeah, it's a budget place. The rooms are clean and everyone seems really friendly. Appears safe, too. I tend to agree that the shared bathrooms and toilets really need a bit more attention - I have an issue with the urine smell in the showers! I've stayed twice here - the first time on my own in the room with...

Booked here in a hurry but I had an awesome time here, nice beds, good showers and it's pretty safe here and it's near Broadway shopping mall and Sydney University so it was cool ... the staff was very helpful, it is self served but for $AUD a night it is worth staying here with regular bus intervals and a...

I needed to be in Sydney for a one night stay for work. I chose the private room room with private shower. Comes equipped with a TV and room is private and safe. The only issue with this lodge is that other 'residents' can be noisy and there is no management present over night in order to address this issue....

Stayed here for 6 nights while in a desperate situation. The first night I stayed in a private single room. It had a tv, a desk and private shower. The toilets are shared (there are 3). The second night I stayed in a private double room which was smaller, has a TV but no desk and also no ensuite shower....

This was the nastiest place I have ever been to. The "room" was smaller than my child's bedroom and was not what was advertised. Booked twin beds but got a bunk bed that looked like it would fall apart at any given moment. The so called secure wardrobes did not lock and the television, which was perched on a window...

I prefer to stay in hotels. This time I decided to try a hostel due to its location and good price. I have had small problem during checkin - my reservation site didnt informed the hostel about extension in my stay - but this small problem has been solved quickly thanks to the smiling australian guy at the reception. Overall...

I stayed over New Year so everywhere was stupidly expensive but this place was reasonable. The rooms were clean with aircon, nice size bed, free WIFI and really nice staff. Loads of buses into town are a 2 minute walk away.
