Our trip to Sydney was planned very last minute, and I was so excited that the Hilton was available for our first night (at a very reasonable price too!). We took the all-nighter from Los Angeles, and arrived at 9 am on Tues, Feb 17. Perfect time for rush hour traffic so our cab ride from the airport was long....

We were recommended this hotel so thought we would give it a try for a couple of nights whilst passing through. We were driving, with sat nav thank goodness as the Sydney road system and signage is amongst the worst in the world. Even so the new car we were in's sat nav could not cope with the various one-way...

The Hilton was refurbished recently and i vastly improved. They kept the Marble bar but must of the rest is new. They have issues with checking in where it gets congested but the staff manage this pretty well. Getting there: I have been stuck in traffic going to and from Sydney airport too many times. While the train is pricey...

We stayed in the Hilton Sydney over the christmas period. I have to say that is is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was immaculate. The king suite was just to die for. It had a beautiful sitting area, writing desk, king size bed with a pillow menu and three tvs including one in the bathroom. Two...

We stayed in the Hilton overnight during our stopover in Sydney recently. It is in a fantastic location in the middle of Sydney CBD, directly opposite the stunning Queen Victoria Building. The only thing it lacks compared to other 5-star hotels in Sydney, like the Marriott, Intercontinental and Four Seasons, is view of Sydney Harbour. Hilton has recently introduced the...

Have stayed here three times, and this week was upgraded to a Relaxation Room, which is much large than the standard room. It also features a large bathroom, with deep spa bath, walk in shower, reasonable sized lounge area, large TV and a bowl of fruit on arrival. Visited the Executive Lounge for breakfast which included a good range of...

If you looking for a well located hotel for shopping, this is it. And close to good restaurants. Try Pendalino's in the Strand Arcade for Italian and both Fortune Village and Mr Wong for Chinese. All three were very accommodating for gluten free, particularly Fortune Village.

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of downtown Sydney. Shops and sights are within walking distance. Other than its superb location there is nothing special to highlight about this hotel. It is your typical Hilton with nice modern interior, clean rooms and friendly staff. All in all choosing this Hilton for your stay in Sydney in order to...

My favourite Sydney City Hotel was booked out the night I needed, so I thought I'd try the Hilton. I booked a King Executive Room with Executive benefits. Hotel lobby smelt fantastic - I know this might be a strange comment, but it really...

I've stayed here many times for both business and vacations with my family. The rooms were probably the height of fashion when the hotel was renovated some years ago, but are starting to look a little tired. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
