The Marriott Sydney Harbour at Circular Quay features comfortable rooms and fine hospitality. We took a Junior Suite high up with harbor and bridge view there for eight nights. In truth the harbor view was through neighboring high-rises but it was pleasing and dramatic. We enjoyed the spacious bedroom with a comfortable king bed and the living room whose furnishings...

The Sydney Marriott was a nice business hotel in the CBD. There was easy access to the business district and to other outlying parts of town. Positives: - Large gym and workout facility - Strong wifi - Easy access Downsides: - Dining/restaurants were average, but with steep pricing. Overall, a good place to stay in Sydney for business.

Hi there! I took the kids to Sydney for the school holidays. I got a great deal with a double room at the Marriott Hotel on Circular Quay. The room was quite small, but tit was light & bright & fitted out well. If you've read my other reviews, I'm a stickler for the little things. I travel a lot...

Our room was spacious and very clean. They had everything you would need to enjoy your stay - even an adapter for US electrical items. Bathroom was very large with a separate tub and shower area. Elevators only operate if you have a key card, which certainly makes it very secure. The concierge was extremely helpful with all our questions....

We stayed at the Marriott for about a week. The location was very good. It's easy to walk to the harbor, the Rocks and shopping. There are several bars and restaurants within walking distance. The executive lounge was under construction so we used a temporary lounge on the second floor. It was awkward and didn't have enough seating. Our room...

We arrived in Sydney at 9 at night. It was raining and it had been a long day. We were greeted with charming staff and NO waiting time. We were upgraded to a corner room at no extra cost. This room was huge with a stunning view of the Opera House. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were...

Reached expectations and value concierge attentive though my late check in at 9:30 was really slow. I don't appreciate Front Office staff trying to make idle chatter to waste time while somebody else tries to find me a room. Very nice breakfast. The location close to the Rocks is great for restaurants and outstanding views of the harbour. Also very...

Since this is not a budget hotel, our expectation definitely is high. Here is my review of the hotel. The rooms are old especially the bathroom which gave me a feel like 1980's. but luckily it is very clean. The room doesn't has coffee machine, usb plug and so on. The good side is although the room is old but...

I've been staying here for years and this hotel continues to be consistently great. The service is always good, rooms modern and well appointed. The proximity to Circular Quay is also a massive bonus. The gym and downstairs bar also are very good and one of the reasons I keep coming back!

We arrived here on our first day in Australia, on our first trip to the country. Superb service from start to finish (over the three days we stayed) Having travelled from the UK, and in need of a good freshen up on an early morning arrival, the opportunity to use the early arrivals lounge/shower etc was a great touch. Our...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
