I had a last minute business trip in Sydney and ended up in a $650AU room with a view of the opera house and sort of a suite. It was pleasant. Can see that the old has been made new - not replaced. Old wood has been painted modern whites and furnishings updated which does work and refreshed the look...

Marriot is definitely situated on the best location. 5 mins to the all time harbour that takes u to a walk along opera house and botanical garden. Another 5 mins up north the street takes u to the hub of sydney of shopping and food. Just the hotel itself is a bit old. But understand as it is in downtown...

Perfect location for tourists - all the main sites are within walking distance. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. We had access to the executive lounge (my husband travels frequently for work), and it was one of the best! Makes everything so convenient when you don't have to worry about what to do for breakfast in...

Situated in downtown this place is a good one to stay. Major attractions are walking distance and some great placrs to shop. Rooms aren't very big but they are comfortable. Breakfast isn't included in room rent which was a disappointment but i enjoyed my stay

The rooms were very clean, modern quiet and spacious. Close to The Rocks and Circular Quay and if you are a walker it is still in walking distance to most places. I liked the option of not having our linen changed every day as I don't know anyone who does that at home. I was impressed that all of the...

I found the reception staff and concierge to be amongst the helpful and friendly staff I've encountered on my Australian trip. Spent 2 nights here whilst on a business trip. Beautiful view from my room of Sydney Harbour Bridge and from the executive lounge a good view of the opera house. I was disappointed in the executive lounge breakfast though....

Stayed at the Sydney Marriott with my travel companion and buddy recently, they upgraded us to a room with a view of the Opera House and the Bridge. Room was not big but very clean and had good Wifi! The Executive Lounge provided us with good breakfast and nice snacks in the afternoon. Staff was friendly and the conciege was...

With an elevator bank of 5-6 it seemed only one worked at a time. Became a drag with a four day stay. The concierge was pleasant, but not overly so. The bar staff were superb! The location (near the Rocks) cannot be beat... and room size was comparable to US.

Dear Christine V, Thank you for taking the time to write to share with us your feedback. I am saddened to hear of the disappointing recent stay at the Sydney Harbour Marriott. I checked in today and meet a very nice person at the front desk helping me check in. Room view of opera house is nice. Includes view of harbor and wharf. Location is great and being close to harbor allows for easy access to a dinner cruise. I will post on that after cruise. There seems to be several shopping...

This was our third stay at this great hotel in a wonderful city. It is an ideal base for a stay in Sydney as it is in easy walking distance of the city centre, the bridge, the Opera House and the transport hub at Circular Quay. From the airport we just got the airport link train to Circular quay and...
