Wanting to stay in Circular Quay, we decided to try the Four Seasons and booked a Harbour Room so we had everything the harbour and Circular Quay has to offer right out of our window. Great location and well priced. Room Service staff were particularly brilliant. Breakfast offering was great! Housekeeping was a let down with a few problems -...

Must admit I am a big fan of Four Seasons Hotel. They never fail me wherever I stayed. This is the 2nd time we stayed at Sydney's Four Seasons because of their excellent location, close to all transportations - Ferries, Buses and trains. Twice house-keeping everyday to make sure I don't need to ask for supplies of bottled water, toiletries,...

Four Seasons with their awesome location, excellent customer service and a wonderful surprise from the manager made my friend's birthday a truly memorable one! Being the main organizer of my friend's event, I cannot thank Four Seasons enough for being very accommodating with all my requests and making my job a walk in the park! It was a real pleasure...

Great location and access to Club Room for complimenry breakfast buffet, evening cocktails and appitizers worth the extra $ but inviting a guest cost about $40 for a beer, soda & appetizers. Room allows just one person to unpack with only 2-24" & 4-12" drawers, otherwise a great place.

Hard to choose whether the interior views of the great collection of Aboriginal Art (in the hallways even tho this is museum quality!] or the Opera House and Key Bridge from the windows is the more thrilling view. One would be happy even if everything else were not also top notch, but all else is wonderful, too. Good looking, comfortable,...

I wanted to do something special for my birthday but was upset that I'd spent so much money on such an average room. Our view was of george street road works and some rubbish dumps on the street. The room is small and nothing special. I just couldn't get over how much money I'd spent on a normal room! There...

We recently stayed 2 nights in a nice corner Club level room with an awesome view of the bridge and Opera House. Check in at the club was ok. There was a new person being trained and for some reason they had difficulty finding our reservation. The room was beautiful and had really one of the most amazing views in...

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
