We stayed for 3 nights and we weren't expecting much as the room was quite cheap compared to other hotels in the area - we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were extremely clean and well maintained. There was an included hot and cold breakfast. We did have an issue with the hot water however the staff moved us rooms while...

I have been staying here every time I come Sydney. It is well located for Chinatown and local transport. The rooms are of the usual Ibis standard. What makes it special to me is the welcome I receive from the staff and the device they give. Nothing is too much trouble.

This is a good little business hotel in the heart of the city. I stay here when I have a function in the city or a late business meeting. Basic facilities but a good location and good value. Staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended for short business trips in Sydney.

Newly renovated; best beds in the world; friendly reception luxury for us over the next few days in the heart of Sydney. Just delightful. We came here two years ago and are astounded at the new look and comforts on offer. Looking forward to good day outings and good nights sleep. Yay😆

Everything you expect from Ibis - the room was well designed with a comfortable bed and didn't feel as small as some other Ibis hotels. The affordable rate made it worthwhile to stay after a night out (even though I live in greater Sydney); when subtracting a taxi fare home otherwise, it was a smart choice! Hotel is very close...

It is only a basic hotel, but it suited my purpose which was to attend a concert at Darling Harbour. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking at nearby World Square Center (extra cost, but book on line for better price). Many restaurants and pubs near by. also short walk to Hyde Park.

What you would expect from an Ibis. No issues. We were on floor 9 and could hear traffic and roadworks so if your a light sleeper keep that in mind. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi free and no problems. Excellent location, would stay here again if on a short visit to Sydney.

Pleasantly surprised to find our room was available for check-in when we arrived mid-morning from the airport. We were also offered a 5pm check-out as an Accor gold member, and 2 free drinks at the reception bar. No room upgrade was offered however we stayed over Christmas so perhaps the hotel was at capacity. Breakfast and wifi were included in...

I will follow up on the breakfast service. I am sorry the staff did not meet and greet you on arrival. The fruit selection is...

Typical city centre hotel. Very busy but convenient location, lots of eating places and bars around. It is one of the more basic Ibis hotels. Small gym. There is a lot of noise from outside and also within the hotel especially around 8 am. Small, simple, basic it is what it says on the can. Ok for a quick stop...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
