Where do I start, my wife and I have stayed in Sydney numerous times and never had any issues. The ibis is a joke, bar in the foyer, the foyer is the size of an average toilet with the bar tacked on the end of the reception desk. This might actually be the highlight. Now our room please a hostel...

I don't normally stay here and now I understand why. My regular hotel was fully book so I decided to try this. From check to exit there my experience was not great. For a start my check in took so long they felt sorry for me and gave me 2 free passes to their business centre to make up for...

Everything perfect. Staff attentive and friendly. Rooms in good condition. Restaurant ok but a bit expensive for breakfast. Selections not extensive. Location perfect for the things we like to do. We have stayed there many times and always find it friendly and perfect for our needs. It is especially close to the Airport Train and other public transportation and Chinatown.

What a perfect central location (Ibis World Square). Although the room was a little small, who wanted to stay in it when there was a city to explore in all directions, and most of the sights could be visited on foot. Staff were friendly and helpful in every way, even helping with transferring photos with their computers. We couldn't have...

We have stayed at many IBIS hotels and we have never stayed in a hotel where we have had to complain! Where do I start! A warning not to stop out the front of this hotel would have been appreciated! My husband was waiting out the front whilst I ran inside to get parking instructions only to have police ask...

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to review the Hotel. I am very sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I will write to city council again in regards to parking out the front of the Hotel, it is only a loading zone. It is very hard to find parking in Pitt Street, your letter will assist us in...

Busy, no-nonsense and central hotel, ideal for short business trips. Small but comfortable room, friendly service. Offers in-house services which I didn't use (because the whole city is just outside the door). Easy walk to Central Station or Town Hall.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
