Stayed 3 nights . Like the kitchen area enabling us to do light meals in . Breakfast provided and adequate . Staff excellent - helpful but unobtrusive . Close to coffee shops that serve breakfast and lunch and a short walk to dinner places. Close to station - easy for us as we didn't have a car and came from...

Located opposite the park and train station, near Oxford st, Hyde Park Inn was well positioned for transport, and places to eat. Not a luxury hotel but neither were the prices. Rooms were spacious, well equipped and suited our needs. Complementary Continental breakfast packs were provided in the room, complete with fresh milk and juice. This is our second time...

Loved the location - nice and close to where we needed to go in the city. Wasn't overwhelmed by the service or the layout of rooms but it was a good deal in terms of the room price. We would stay there again.

I suppose the first impressions are always dependent on the reception staff. What a great group on yesterday, when we arrived. As usual, the rooms were good, clean and comfortable. Great free wifi. Great location.

This hotel was definitely a great find. Location is within reach of all the main attractions, room was of very good value, with free breakfast such as juice, cereal, bread within room. Although the hotel was of great value this was also a small room with no view which I had no problem with. Parking is available up the road...

Stayed just one night on a quick leisure visit to Sydney. I think we were upgraded as we had a large room with 3 big beds. There was a small balcony overlooking the street and the park opposite but we weren't disturbed by any noise. A good location, station almost opposite, plenty of local buses passing and a short walk...

WE stayed two nights just before our cruise, we booked a deluxe studio and were upgraded to a lovely apartment with a beautiful balcony, which was very much appreciated! Very close to all shops, great pubs around the corner for dinner and lunches, and within walking distance to everything. It was straight across from the Museum rail station, we took...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
