Very happy, room was very comfortable Very easy to get to from the airport as you catch the air train to musiem station and the hotel is a hop skip and a jump away Walking distance to the opera house and and Martin Place very close to all really Thoughly enjoyed staying here

Like all Sydney hotels you'll pay through the nose. This one seemed the best of an overpriced bunch with benefits being breakfast included, free wifi, newspaper each morning and a kitchenette. Aircon would not work on cold, just fan. Need to keep the sliding balcony door closed at night due to traffic noise so important for the aircon to work...

Hotel very overpriced. I was there for a 2 day conference & decided for convenience to stay at the same hotel for the weekend after. I wish I had checked into another hotel. The view was nice but the balcony was very dirty & felt too unsafe to sit out on & the street noise was too loud. The room...

After travelling to Hawaii where serving Defense members are really looked after with accommodation, attractions and discounts, I felt somewhat disappointed to come home where there is very little offered in genuine benefits. I was very happy with to find the Hyde Park Inn which offers a great deal for NSW RSL members. A great room with a view of...

Excellent hotel! Comfiest beds I have slept on at a hotel, E-V-E-R! Staff were very friendly, shower head was a little low (and I'm only 5'5") but really in the scheme of things wasn't that much of a problem. Free breakfast, parking and newspaper are lovely additions - Will definitely be staying here again, such a good price and in...

The room was compact to say the least. No natural light. The advertising of "breakfast included" is an absolute joke. Two pieces of bread in the refrigerator in the room with a packet of cereal and some butter would hardly rate as "breakfast included". Extortionately expensive for what was offered. Staff should learn how to relate to people and smile...

Hyde Park Inn is a very nice hotel. The view from upper floors is fantastic. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast being included is a bonus. Reception staff are very helpful. A map for Sydney can be obtained from reception staff. There is a food place on the corner but if want the fresher food buy early & reheat in the...

We chose this room because the advertisement offered a balcony with views over Hyde Park. I am recovering from knee surgery and we wanted somewhere we could sit outside and relax, but we were disappointed on both counts. We had asked for one of the higher floors but from our room on the 5th floor the view of the Park...

Dissapointing expiriance! Arrived late, they given my room to someone else, instead they gave me lower floor room with no view. They gave me to sign the paper that i am in the room on 7th floor instead gave me the key on the 5th. Complained to assistant manager - no help - he was very rude, lied and said...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
