Friendly service and great location but tired rooms, mouldy smell, dripping toilet and horrible water saving showerhead that stings. Not the worst place and ok for business but don't stay here for fun.

A hidden gem in the heart of the City. Great Value for money and a super place to stay for a family. Close to everything and even an IGA Shopping Centre just down the road. Room has everything you need

The room was a good size for 3 adults and had everything we needed for our short stay in Sydney. The location is excellent, right in the heart of things but not crazy busy or noisey (apart from the road works but that is not the hotels fault). This will be my go to accom for Sydney from now on.

Extremely close to Martin Place, Pitt Street, and 15 min walk to the Opera house, we stayed in a one bedroom suite, that was perfect for three adults. Ws greeted on arrival by Helen, warm and friendly, couldn't complain will diffently stay again

The Medina is located down a laneway off Castlereagh Street just near Martin Place so is a fantastic location in the centre of everything. While the rooms are spacious, they are showing signs of age and as the windows look out onto the laneway and the building next door the rooms feel dark and claustrophobic. The shower recess has a...

Don't stay unless you really, really, really, really need to be in the very centre of the city. Room was very old & tired. Bathroom terrible - one light didn't work. Hot water tap in sink didn't work. You have to step/climb two feed over a ledge just to get into the shower.

Best location we have stayed in Sydney. Stayed at The Menzies and ibis Kings wharf before. Better than just a hotel room. For what we paid we couldn't be happier. Walk to everything. Loved it. will always stay there in the future.

I would go back for the simple fact they are in a handy location, clean and tidy. Not a flash hotel but does the job. No views either. They were upgrading the street while we were there so made a bit of noise but once they are gone it will be good.

Dear Mat410 The team and I were so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us, the street work is almost finished at the front of the hotel so next time you come back the noise will hopefully be gone. Stuart Frost Hotel Manager

Congratulations Summer (front desk) in your handling of the not-working lifts after-hours Monday night. You made a difficult situation to a positive outcome for the 15 or so guests in the foyer without access to their rooms. The location was perfect for the event I attended. Staff where all personable and attentive. Price good but with construction outside understand.
