We had an excellent room and the views were amazing. The food in the restuarant was excellent but the restuarant was very busy and the service could have been better. The Hotel is very central to all that Sydney has to offer.

I stay in Sydney a lot for business, and can't rate any higher the experience I've had at the Novotel. The interior is modern (a bit lush) and grand, with views of Darling Harbour from their atrium and balcony. Rooms are clean, modern, and well maintained. The service from the staff is friendly and attentive, but not OTT, which I...

I stayed here on night for a business trip and it was great, the room was really good, i had a room right on the water but a bit of a restricted view because of the new buildings there. The breakfast was great too a lot on offer. I lost/forgot my room key several times that night and the next...

Receptionist, like all staff were very, very good, new restaurant great at night and for breakfast. The room was good, but airconditioning a bit sad. Location is very good, public transport could be better, you cannot fix

My daughter and I stayed at the Novotel. The room was pleasant. Is is just a few mintues walk to Darling Harbour which is very convenient as my daughter was paddling in the Dragon Boat Races for Chinese New Year which was held in Cockle Bay the next day.

The hotel conditions are ok, not in pair of the price, but maybe in line with the area. If you like to be where all the tourists are, and where workers feel entitle to treat customers poorly just because if it's not your money someone else will come, you're in the right spot!! And it's not just the hotel, that's...

I have stayed at the hotel a lot in the past and most things were as expected. However, as a Platinum member I did not receive all that I should have. Normally when you arrive there will be a bottle of water and a welcome gift, or if it is not there on check-in, it is usually there when you...

We stayed at Darling harbour for a 3 night stay. The room was clean & comfortable although the shower tended to be quite cold. The facilities were good inc. the gym. We had a harbour view room too which was great to watch the Oz day fireworks from.

Excellent service and staff were good. When it came to checking out to only have 3 staff at the busiest time of the day was crazy 45 minutes to check out even for advantage plus members. There was a line for members but we still had to wait.

We had a good 3 day stay at this hotel during New Year's Eve. This hotel is centrally located with convenient access to all the major sight seeing locations. We had opted for a room facing darling harbour which had a lovely view.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
