Stayed there one night. Room with nice view; no welcome to Chinese for sure ( walked in hotel at the same time with a white skin couple, they got doorman service, no one even smile to me; when I walked out for breakfast the second morning, over heard the staff complained more and more Chinese stay in the hotel, sounds...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 8 February 2017

The location and views from this hotel are spectacular. It is on the end of the "rocks" peninsula just below the Harbor bridge and just across from the Opera House. Wow! The service that we received from the reception desk and the concierge is the best that I've ever experienced. We were treated like royalty and even with a delayed...

Breakfast buffet is $35/pp for continental, $45/pp for cooked. Snacks are about $20, desserts are $21. As a Hyatt diamond member I got nothing - no free breakfast, no suite upgrade - nadda. Next time I'm in Sydney I'll be staying at the Hilton.

The PH is a lovely hotel, in-line with the typical modern and sleek design that PH is known for. We enjoyed the hotel for a weekend trip to Sydney. The rooms are nicely appointed with everything you need. The location has great views - but is closer to the touristy spots and CBD, not the quaint Sydney neighbourhoods. The food...

My wife and I stayed here on the night of our wedding and thoroughly enjoyed the time we were there (although we wished we could've stayed longer!). Thankfully that evening was included as part of our overall wedding package as I don't know if I'd be in a position to justify the $1k+ per night, but none the less, the...

The Park Hyatt is situated in a perfect location close to the Opera House and the Harbor Bridge. The views from the rooms are amazing( we looked right onto the Opera House) and the service is attentive and accommodating.

Zephyr roof top bar! One of the best views of the Darling Harbour. Very large and having a very good management and service. A must visit even if not staying at the hotel. Can spend hours in that atmosphere and breathtaking views. Staff:Super Cool.

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
