My partner and I, along with one of our friends stayed in one of our executive rooms on the night of 24 September 2016. The room quality was poor. The air conditioner did not work and the room was very stuffy. We tried to adjust the thermostat but could not get it to work and the result was a very...

Dear Robert B, Thank you for posting your feedback on Tripadvisor. It is disappointing to read that your anticipated stay at Park Regis City Centre did not reach your expectations. We stayed in this hotel just for 1 night to avoid traveling the long way home after a night out in the city. It was a fantastic decision! This hotel was prefect for our needs. The triple room that we stayed in was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. It boasts an incredibly central location that was close to...

There was only one staff member who spoke to us and even he seemed as if hed rather be somewhere else. Our windows were really dirty and the hallways smelt bad. It is a central location and its cheap. But i guess what you pay for is what you get

Hotel is very central, making it easy to walk around CBD and get to train stations and Circular Quay for ferries. Straightforward welcome on arrival and smooth check-in. Room was comfortably furnished, could have done with a lick of paint, the bed was very comfortable. Pillows were thin. They have a deal with The Coffee Club next door for breakfast,...

Stayed here for 5 nights with my wife while visiting Sydney for a conference. First the good, the location is excellent. Stone's throw from Hyde Park, main shopping area in Pitt St, QVB, etc. Walking distance to Chinatown, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay. We had a premier King room but the room was small. Very convenient location. Prices for last minute stay are very good in comparison to what's available in the CBD. Although check is a little later in the day, the ability to park the car from early morning is extremely helpful.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
