My wife and I visited Sydney for the first time in late December. We took the train from the airport and it stopped 2 blocks from the hotel. Also, took a walking tour that started 2 blocks from the hotel as well. The room was very clean, not spacious, bed comfortable, good location to walk and get to public transport....

I stayed here for one night. Check in was efficient and staff were helpful and friendly. I had a superior King room which was small but well appointed and presented. The king bed was comfortable but unfortunately the toilet kept intermittently flushing water about every hour which kept waking me up through the night. The location is very good for...

Metro hotel on Pitt is a lovely little gem in the heart of the city. We did advise that it was our anniversary on check in and to our luck we were upgraded to a deluxe king room. Nice and spacious room. Shower water pressure was amazing and relaxing. After a long day out we had a very good night...

Fiance and I stayed here New Years Day for one night after our other accommodation was below our standards. This was a nice little find, staff were friendly, clean and nice. The only critisim was the breakfast...yes it was buffet and hot, but they didnt regularly replace missing hot food which was a shame because i do love my hashbrowns.

We recently stayed for 1 night at the Metro Hotel on Pitt. This hotel is centrally located in the Sydney CBD. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff we friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast. I would happily stay here again.

Very comfortable bed, very clean room, very clean and roomy bathroom. We were given an upgrade to King room on arrival. This was pre booked by our travel agent so we had no idea of the hotel. We have since highly recommended this great hotel to our travel agent for future client bookings.

For our 24-hour layover between the US and Lord Howe Island, chose the Metro Hotel on Pitt because of its location. My husband and I were able to get into our room early, freshen up, and then walk to Darling Harbor. We returned to the hotel for a mini rest and then walked to Sydney Harbor. Our taxi driver from...

Service needs improvement. Was a bit hostile when we checked in. Booked through a third party, and had the booking confirmation email and stay on app in personal account. Also had various credit cards with name, and email, and app account, they refused to let us check in because I had no photo ID. I understand this was policy, but...

Dear CarlyB212 Thank you for the review.I apologise we were not more helpful on arrival. Sadly the policy of identification is actually in the third parties hand (both of the bigger ones having previously refused to pay us without it for a legitimate stay). But this I suppose is why I would encourage everyone to check and book with the...

Coming from a rural town, this place was the perfect hole in the wall to escape the craziness and noise. The room size was just right slap bang in the middle of the city. Couldn't hear a thing of the outside world so sleeping and resting was np. Service was great and fast. Free wi fi & aircon plus a...

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
