We booked couple of rooms for few guests over a weekend in December. I am on the road close to 120 days a year mostly overseas, but this weekend was pleasure time at the Westin Sydney. I had never been in this property prior. Just like any downtown property, the Westin is within walking distance to a lot of things,...

The room was great, bathroom spacious, rain shower just amazing. Service excellent during our whole stay. Only downside, if any, was we found no ability to preview movies on offer. 2 minute walk to train station, 10 minute walk to Circular Quay so very convenient. Concierge excellent with ample recommendations.

The Westin is perfectly located in the centre of the CBD, within the shell of one of Sydney's great heritage buildings, making for interesting public spaces (lobby etc.). Mosaic restaurant sits mostly under a vast dome providing lovely natural light for breakfast and a marvelous view of the grand interior of the old GPO. Check-in was slick. Service was good,...

Situated in prime Sydney CBD off Martin Place and Pitt St, its a great location with lots of shopping, bars, restaurants etc and of course where alot of corporates are. The hotel is modern, contrasting with the adjacent historic and very large old GPO brick building along Martin Place. The rooms as expected have all the 5 star conveniences, and...

I've stayed at the Westin Hotel in Sydney many times. Each time has been a pleasurable experience. I've always stayed in the tower room overlooking the clock tower. The ways in which the modern and heritage aspects of this hotel have been brought together are very well thought out. The service is first class, comfortable beds and the staff go...

I planned a night at the Westin based on its name and location within the Sydney CBD. I booked a Club room and was not disappointed. Everything about the experience was first class and compares favourably the best five star hotels of this genre I've stayed in. The room was wonderful, the Club was solid, but with really good service...

This would be our fourth or fifth stay over the past few years, and again the Westin was welcoming. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
