The hotel is in a great location central to evrything and close to Wynyard station. Friendly and professional staff gave great first impression. It is an older style hotel but immaculately presented but the room was modern and very comfortable. Breakfast brasserie was really good too. Cannot fault this hotel.

Fantastic city location in a charming historic building. Our room was lovely and stuff were always friendly and helpful. The internet connection provided wasn't the most reliable but otherwise a lovely hotel in every way and would highly recommend it.

I like the room that was assigned to me. I like the room as it was very big. I like the TV channels. It would be better if some movies are offered for free as a token of appreciation to the guest. The iron was not really good for me, as its surface was quite hard and using it was... More

Loved the attention to the beautiful building's history. Our group of 7 stayed for a conference. We loved the comfortable rooms, central location, wonderful service and the detail of the interiors. Daily breakfast was beautiful.

Spacious room and great food were a feature of my stay. The Grace Hotel is in a central city location making it an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Quiet location so good for a restful sleep. Conference IT was problematic.

It's Sydney, so it's expensive but if you can get past that, the location and amenities here are great. The room we stayed in was huge - I was pleasantly surprised by the size. The wifi is free (though limited to 500 MB/day) and there are a good range of TV stations available as well. Bathroom is perfectly fine. Check-in... More

We really enjoyed staying at the Grace Hotel, Great location, very close to the city and the Queen Victoria building. Our room was very comfortable and a great size, we staying on inside room, which was excellent for noise. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, unfortunately they were unprepared to sort out room issue, left us with a bad image of what is a very nice hotel. Felt they could have done more for us to resolve issue. Rooms were nice and clean

Would go back and recommend it to anyone looking for old world class and elegance, efficiency, super king beds and linen luxury. The room was clean. tidy, welcoming and had great views. The pool and rooftop view was amazing.

Overpriced (but Sydney is an expensive city); excellent location - within 2 miles walk of all hotspots. Ate at in-house Italian eatery - very good. The bistro cafe for coffee was also good; barista was friendly and helpful.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
