We stayed at The Grace for the first time. It was certainly disappointing. We obtained a deal to stay here and just as well because you would not want to pay top dollar. We have stayed at much better city accommodation for the same price previously. In saying that the it was well positioned for the new convention centre where...

Very well placed within the Sydney CBD and staff are polite and friendly and most helpful when seeking particular detail on Sydney events as well as good places to dine. Directions were clear and readily managed. Particular requests for wine availability nearby were readily provided by the concierge.

From check in to check out we loved our stay at The Grace. It's a favourite hotel when we visit Sydney - great, location, friendly staff, beautiful building, stunning foyer and fittings and flowers, etc... makes you feel so special! Highly recommended.

Location was terrific. 15 min walk from Opera House and Botanic Gardens. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Concierge desk is awesome, Peter took great care of us. Staff is friendly. Bed was deliciously comfy.

Once again the Grace has lived up to it consistent solid quality of service and quality. Love the older style of the building, whilst it still has all the modernality of a shiner new motel. Consistently great breakfast. Awesome location, central to,everything, shopping sight seeing and and of course all the key points of interest.

Great place to stay, this was my 4th time at the Grace Hotel. Booked a Deluxe King room on level 9, loved it. Spacious room, great comfortable bed. Lifts can be a bit slow in the morning during busy times, and found that some of the soft drinks in the mini bar were past their expiry dates. Room service was...

Beautiful Art deco hotel with history and great location to most sights in downtown Sydney. A couple of blocks to 2 train stations. Great Italian restaurant on site where you experience individual ordering and observing making your meal. Lots of fun and tasty.

Location is superb, especially for a first-time visitor. Within 1-3 blocks are a full grocery store, camera store, trains, a Telstra store (from which to buy a sim card) and more shopping than you'll ever have time for. Definitely skip Vapiano restaurant in the same building and find almost anywhere better. I didn't have a car, but from what I...

Great central location, very friendly staff and excellent quirky hotel. Our room was ready ahead of time, so we could check-in early. Room was clean and well maintained, bathrooms are getting a bit old, but still very tidy and immaculately clean.

Very friendly staff, eager to please, helpful. Check-in was a breeze and so was the check-out. Hotel was always clean and the food very fresh. The fresh flowers on each floor brightened up the place too. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
