Was a great place to stay and will stay again. The location was great for the attendance of the ALLIANZ stadium. I wish I could have had room service when we got in late instead just room coffee. Recommend to anyone....especially families.
well located very clean with washer dryer, cooking facility's, comfortable bed and pillows no noise from traffic just a real good place to stay I think people visiting Sydney for the first time would be impressed
Have stayed in Adina apartments several times and the facilities and location can't be beaten. In the middle of Surry Hills it has easy links to the City, Harbour and eastern suburbs. Its also surrounded by great places to eat, drink and shop. The apartments on the whole are well stocked but the decor is getting a little dated and needs an update. Common areas are modern and the pool and surrounds well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful and cleaning was as frequent as required. Would still recommend this place highly
We stayed eight nights and found this hotel very comfortable and a great location. As mentioned in other reviews there is a good range of local cafes, restaurants and grocers. It's very convenient for the light rail and buses.. The apartment is well appointed and a good size. When we asked for extra crockery and cutlery for the kitchen it was supplied. We appreciated having a dishwasher, washer and dryer. The staff were helpful. The swimming pool is a good size though not heated but used it despite the cold water.
Stayed over new year, and it would have been a 5 star rating without the warning from the property 2 days before we stayed about the ‘very limited’ parking spaces and that the nearest public car park was about 2k away. When booking the site says ‘parking is possible’ ;not that it is ‘very limited’) and we knew we couldn’t prebook a space- but the description of the availability of parking is definitely different after booking than before, so just be aware. As it turned out we got a space without a problem, and it never looked full, but this was a worry beforehand. The apartment was great, very clean, housekeeping seemed to be around a lot (and even ran a few plates through the dishwasher for us when we were out). The only slight thing that was annoying was the wifi constantly dropped in and out. Nice pool/jacuzzi too. All in all a great stay.…
I would recommend Adina for a vacation or business stay. It is an easy walk to the light rail and there are lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The Brett Whitely Studio is within an easy walk. Adina is quiet but close to everything.
The Adina at Surry Hills is perfectly located for a staycation in the city. With a lively night-life, fabulous range of local cafes and grocers and easy access to all the most interesting sights of Sydney, my recent stay was such fun! The staff are welcoming and professional in their approach. The apartments well appointed and adequately equipped for a lengthy visit. Will definitely be back!
I have stayed at this hotel regularly in the past 5 years. 5 years ago the hotel was in pretty good condition, but now it is looking very tired. The rooms are tired, the mattresses and pillows need replacing. The rooms are clean though. The hotels best features are its location and the availability of carparking, which are hard to find in this area. The check in process has no 'welcome' to it at all. The staff always focus on the 'conditions of staying' which appear directed to younger people, possibly booking on the weekends to party in the area. I am not sure how my 50's business attire and grey hair fit with this. I am also a member of Adina, but receive no ''welcome back''. Never ever have. There is frequently no milk in the fridge and the other extras like wine and chips and a breakfast option in the room have all gone since COVID. Please renovate this hotel and train the staff so it can be a great place to stay again. …
Wonderful staff and the location was excellent. So close to lots of eating options and the city. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Loved the pool and spa area. All communal areas were kept extremely clean also. We will definitely be back again.
Overall pretty good, would be nicer if there was a sauna, something I look for every time. The location is excellent and there are plenty of options for food, coffee etc within a short walk. And light rail into town also only a short distance away.
