We stayed here for 3 nights and liked the location (close to kings cross station and the opera house /harbor bridge) and the kitchen, which is well-equipped and clean. The room and bathrooms were also clean and the bed was good. Then, the downside(s). WiFi was free, but very slow, and only worked in the common area; for decent WiFi...

Eva's was recommended to me by a friend in Melbourne. I only had a week in Sydney to see the sights and relax between jobs and Eva's Guesthouse was just perfect! The rooftop overlooking Sydney skyline was stunning and all of your amenities (laundry, kitchen untensils) are all available to you. With reference to reviews saying this is not a...

Hostel is okay, staff really friendly but there isn't really a good common area to meet people and there's no atmosphere. No music can be played at all but it just depends what you want. Rooftop was nice, Kings Cross station is close. If you want a quiet stay, choose this hostel

I just stayed at Eva's for a couple of days and really enjoyed it. It felt much more personal and cosy than most of the other hostels I've stayed in in Australia. I really liked that they offered free tea, coffee and hot chocolate and provided free towels. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. My only criticism was...

Pretty good hostel. Reception and cleaning staff were very friendly. I stayed in a four bed room with en suite and everything was very clean. The room was a bit on the cramped side and it was incredibly hot at night. I would genuinely avoid this hostel during summer becuase of this. But in winter it would be quite cosy...

We stayed here for 5 days and it proved to be a good choice. It's very clean (a cleaner comes everyday who is lovely by the way, she even got me a fan because I said I was hot). Good modern facilities and rarely had to wait to use them, although 9am is a busy time FYI! We had a...

The mattress were sagging. The semi-permanent guests who I think also work in the guesthouse were nice people but have took over more spaces. They have expanded their space that made it quite harder form those who come and go to find a temporary place for things. Lights out were quite early and unfortunately you can’t be able to do...

Eva's is clean and central in the middle of Kings Cross. The property itself is quaint and clean with a lovely view of the city from the roof top. The staff are absolutely lovely and go above and beyond to help any way they can. It is a great place to meet others if you are traveling solo and you...

This is a nice hostel. The staff was very courteous and helpful. it is close to everything. I walked to the opera House and the docks and the botanical garden. There is a subway station King Cross. there are private rooms with double bunk beds and other with 6 or more. I believe you can have up to 12 people...
