My friend and I needed the cheapest rate so we could attend a week dance camp in Sydney so Agnes at reception matched the deal on Wotif.com over the phone and I got an email confirmation from Eva and Liz not long after. Everything was clean. Free sheets, towels, wifi and tea and coffee, all free. My friend forgot her...

We stayed in a private room for four nights. The room needed some new paint but most definitely a mold removal. There were a couple of spots and it wasn't pretty. The bathrooms on the other hand were very nice and clean and the staff very friendly. The rooftop is pretty cool. The location is good, the next station is...

Stayed at Eva's for 2 nights in a family room. It was friendly, safe and welcoming. Staff were helpful and jolly to talk to. A good hostel if you are new to Sydney and need some support and advice. Spotlessly clean with sheets and towels given on arrival. Some redecoration would be good but good standard for a city centre...

We loved Eva's! Clean, super friendly, abundantly helpful and great location. Liz, Lynn and Joe were better than a concierge at a hotel. They gave us travel advice, directions and helped sort out the few kinks we had (not caused by Eva's) but most important they were sweet and friendly. The hostel was a great mix of ages including some...

I stayed in a dorm at first but my Dad came to visit so we took a private room and we both loved it. The staff were always helpful, the kitchen is a bit crowded but the guests were all friendly and respected each other... The location is great, I went for a run through the botanic gardens, around the...

If you want to stay in the centre of Sidney and you don't have many demands, this is a nice hostel with good value for money. Our room (2p) was simple but fine, a little bit warm with only a small fan. On our floor were 3 combined toilets/showers, those were modern and clean. In the morning when everybody wants...

I liked evas . It's located at potts point along with most other hostel . Nice walk into centre (or train station ). Area itself is a right mix of people . Backpackers , trendsetters, hipsters and junkies can all be found mixing it up in potts point . Eva's is an old building and I don't think they'd mind...

Eva's Backpackers was the first hostel that we stayed at so we couldn't really compare to anything else but overall we really enjoyed our stay! Room: we stayed in a triple private room and that was spacious enough for the three of us with comfy beds. The only thing is that the paintwork needs updating but that's a minor issue....

We stayed at Eva's for 5 nights. We really enjoyed our stay there. They were so accommodating with every aspect of our stay. Especially fantastic in sorting out our reservation before we even arrived. The staff was really great. They were so nice and very helpful. Just a great group of people. The facilities were a nice change as well....
