Great facilities and great location -except on weekends when everything around the hotel is closed because it is in a business district. It is possible to walk to all the major attractions and shopping malls.

This hotel is a bit of a secret. Location is slightly out of the way, but it is very luxurious. It's an unassuming place, but absolutely beautiful. Probably the sofetest bed I've ever slept on. Service and check in was very fast and professional.

Very good location. Walking distance to harbour bridge and opera house. Queen Victoria building is so close too. Hotel rooms are very clean and nice size. Bathroom is nice and clean too. Like the Separate shower.

Nice hotel with good facilities. Clean and comfy with lovely rooms, great bathroom. An unfortunate incident with a hair in my (room service) butter chicken was quickly and professionally dealt with, reimbursed and an alternative offered. It was a shame as it was probably the best butter chicken I've had in ages!

Room was dusty and when the air con fan was used it conveyed the dust everywhere. caused my eyes to burn and a sore throat.Complained and it was satisfactorily cleaned the following morning. Very soft mattress on bed which was dressed with stiff, hard cotton sheets. The room was overlooked by rooms in an adjacent building so the blind was down...

The room we booked for 4 People was very small and no space to store or hang up any clothes Very narrow beds. Breakfast was ok, but no great...

We enjoyed our three night stay at the Amora. It was centrally located and convenient for accessing many areas. The food was good and we enjoyed the breakfast. Our room on the 29 floor was fresh and clean and had all the conveniences you would expect. Apart from one small niggle, the safe was only fixed for our final night,...

Clean tidy and well presented. All service staff were freindly and helpful. Nice rooms with all the feature you could want. My stay was short but would be happy to stay there again if the option was available.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
