From eth moment we walked into the foyer, checked in and escorted to our club room.. It was a wonderful, relaxing compromise to the hustle and bustle and noise of the city. Great start to a wonderful stay

The Amora is a beautiful hotel, well located, clean, modern and excellent friendly staff. One of my favourite hotel's in Sydney! Perfect for a business trip or even a family stay. All facilities such as the indoor pool, sauna, gym etc are terrific.

Beautiful hotel thoroughly enjoyed our stay, comfortable bed and spacious room, nice bathroom, had all the facilities in the room you'd expect for this price range. The hotel also had heated indoor pool and spa and sauna and steam room and nice restaurant. It's in a prime location and easy to walk to most of Sydney's sites. Only complaint we...

1. I was overcharged for breakfasts. How can you possibly include the breakfast rate in the room tariff and then charge me again for breakfasts. Your charging systems must be amateurish. 2 My toilet in room 1117 had a leak which wet the bathroom floor - quite obvious to the cleaner!! 3. Breakfasts are very expensive.

Room and bed were fantastic. Shower was great. Breakfest being included was a major selling point. The room was still rather expensive even though it was on sale. All the services were fantastic and made for a great birthday weekend for my girlfriend.

Bathroom badly equipped. Inadequate Vanity or table space in the bathroom. Inadequate hanging space for bath towels or hand towels. Towels need hand rails to dry not hooks on the wall. Bathroom steamed up during shower. Is the extractor fan working?. Two suitcase stands are always required for two people. Bed was good and good TV and lighting for reading./...

I found this hotel fairly comfortable, the rooms were nice enough but dated. Mouldy tile grout in bathroom, toilet kept running water until you mucked around with the button long enough. Room service was awful and extremely expensive for the sludge that was served. Breakfast was nice though it's difficult get a continental breakfast wrong so I'm not sure if...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
