I chose this hotel based on reviews on Tripadvisor and Booking.com. My group of 14 was not thrilled with this property. Reception was gracious and welcoming on check-in, but intractable when contacted prior in an attempt to arrange a check-in time outside of normal business hours due to our cruise schedule and planned day trip. I stayed in a family...

I booked and stayed here for 2 nights in early February after some international friend’s book a room also. We arrived and were greeted by a nice woman (owner or Manager I think) who was very helpful. We were able to get our rooms immediately although we were very early. The room was fine, nothing special but functional, the room...

This hotel proved ideal for us. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main city area, yet within 30 mins walking distance of most of the main sites. Only 250 yds from the waterfront, and a further 500 Yds to the botanical gardens and a beautiful walk to the opera house and the main ferry hub at circular quay....

The location of this hotel is excellent , close to the city, opera house , botanical gardens and lots of cafes. The room was clean and adequate but the bathroom was below standard ( there was a notice in the bathroom saying that the bathrooms would be updated this year ). Staff was friendly and helpfull it was great that...

We really enjoyed our stay at Mariners Court Hotel. Position - It might seem a bit off centre but we chose it as it was only about 150 yds or less from the stop of the Hop on Hop off tour bus. We had a 48 hour ticket and were at the hotel for two days so that suited us...

This was a great and basic place to stay. Prefect on a budget and only a short hike up to the train or a hop skip an jump down to the bus. Walked to the gardens and round to the opera house from this base in 32 degree heat, take water and poof poof powder for shaffing. But already awesome...

Good location hotel walking distance to Botanic garden, Opera house and city centre. Free wifi and complimentary breakfast provided. Room is clean and serviced everyday. Bus stops to Kingscross station and city centre just few minutes walk from the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Excellent location; walking distance to both lines of "Hop On/Hop Off"; near waterfront and restaurants; clean comfortable room; allowed us to store luggage at 9 a.m. with check in much later in the day; helpful and friendly; planning upgrades to bathrooms; comfortable room; good value for the money; breakfast is far above average and is included.

The Mariners Court was initially designed as a retired marine officers house, and this can be seen in the internal and external design. The age of the hotel (more than a quarter of a century) can also be seen - it looks tired and 'old' without being in style. The location is at mid distance from the nice harbor area,...

Stayed here 3 nights waiting for a cruise ship arrival. The bed is very comfortable, the towels are very thick and soft and the location is great - it being 150 yards walk down to the harbour. Good quality restaurants nearby - try Siena Marina brasserie for lovely food. Breakfast included was a bonus and offered good fruit juice, cereals,...
