Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.

Booked Hotel Coronation after reading the positive reviews on Trip Advisor and we were certainly not disappointed. Excellent location, great value for money, friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms and quirky elevator. It may not be the fanciest hotel in Sydney but it has a good

The hotel is attached to a bar, so is smokey when you walk in. However, we stayed on the top (4th) floor and didn't notice the smoke at all. The room must have just been cleaned when we arrived, as when we breathed in for the first few minutes we coughed from air freshener. The

Booked Hotel Coronation as a Mystery Deal, admittedly didn't have high hopes however realized the premium location was the main selling point of the hotel. The hotel itself is quite small, no lobby area so to speak, really cool vintage lift (possibly from the 40's or 50's?), all

We were in the same situation. The desk manager will be quite helpful and mind your bags while you go have breakfast, and there are many places within a short walk. He did his best to get us in, and did get an early check out. It will be good and tell him hi from Chris and Genell from San Francisco/January

"Higher floors are better. Elevator very old, small, and hard to hold open."
"I stayed on the southern side of the property facing other buildings/service alleys, and was eerily quiet at night."
"204 is wheelchair friendly so bathroom was quite restrictive as access water would flood floor if shower turned on too much."
"Our room had a bit of a view to see the street below, and The Eye tower. Our second room did not have a view, however we were still happy."
"I had Room 305 overlooking the street, other rooms at back would be quieter"
