Very comfortable well kept lodge: king size bed, friendly helpful staff, and excellent location within a few steps to good food, transport, and easy access to taxi if needed. This is my 2nd stay, and I will be back!

Sydney is a VERY expensive city but I don't understand how this hotel can charge about $150 (AU). We spend there just one night because the next day we jumped on our cruise. Two nights would had been too much. The room was extra small and you can't imagine the washroom. When I rinsed my teeth my head hit the...

Excellent location for exploring Sydney. Easy to get to ferrys, opera house, botanical gardens and downtown either walking or train. It is in a peaceful spot in a lively area. Plenty of eating options. The train system is minutes away. The front desk people are terrific. The rooms are a modest size but well serviced every day. The bathroom is...

The hotel was nice, helpful staff, clean and quiet rooms and quite a good location. Close to restaurants and supermarkets but the Potts point area is a bit of a walk to the main attraction such as the harbour. Shower was a bit low down, might be difficult if you're very tall!

We arrived in Sydney excited for a 5 night stay in the city, our first 3 nights being at this lodge. Our excitement soon turned to disappointment. Firstly the location - kings cross/Potts point is basically the red light district. Although I was told it used to be a lot worse, it's still full of strip joints, homeless people and...

Where to start. We got to reception to meet the most miserable welcome we have ever received from a guy named Glen. We got our keys and walked down to the basement for get our room number 01, we couldn't both get in the door at the same time as the room was so cramped, trying to get our luggage...

The hotel was so clean and personnel were accommodating. It has a place to cook food so if you have time to buy raw you can stock it for a week in your room fridge and cook daily. They were not so strict with the capacity of checking inn people. Good price for the experience you have.

I chose this hotel due to the picture of the outside and the pictures of the rooms don't look too bad either ; however , the room I was given was small , dark and smelt of damp . It had a view of a few drain pipes and little else. The bathroom was tiny and smelt strongly of damp....

Dear Soletripper, Thank you for writing a review of your stay here at Springfield Lodge. We're sorry that you had a loose tap and we have seen to this now. We are close to the city so most of our outlooks are fairly limited and some of our rooms are compact. We certainly have had a bit of rain this...

Had a 3 night stop here. Was a great place with great friendly staff. Located with easy walking distance in to the heart of Sydney with bars and food places just round the corner. I arrived early but was able to change and leave my bags and then come back later at check in time. Would stay again
