This is a friendly place, and the service is fast.
The steak was good, but the mashed potatoes really suck. Maybe an Australian tast, but still horrile for me.
Prices are OK, and I would return, but would skip the mashed potatoes. Once again, tge...More
We had a medium bedroom with a double bed, bar fridge, freestanding clothes rack, towels and toiletries. It is a very central location and easy walking distance to the city. The kitchen is well equipped and basic breakfast staples were supplied.
Some friends and I stayed here recently, Great when you just need a bed, wouldn't recommend for long stays but when you just need a place to crash it's perfect! Room and shared facilities were clean and tidy, no complaints.
Small, plain room. No frills. Decent breakfast was in a small kitchen.
kitchen was well equipped. Very convenient location, easy to get to Wynyard. Just stayed for one night, came straight from the airport.

the bar is an old sytle Aussie pub. the beer selection is wide and pretty cheap (especially by CBD standards). The food is simple - but tasty and reasonably priced.
This is NOT an upmarket bistro-type place, but great for a beer with mates.

The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.

Of course, there is always out the front and I would think that were there are poker machines, there is always a smoking area. =I am not associated with this hotel=.
