This is a great caravan park just out of Cairns. We stayed for four nights during our 3 weeks in Central Australia. It's a great spot to base yourself and do day trips to the gorges and other sights. The laundry was fantastic and we were lucky enough to stay on a well appointed en suite site. The bathroom was...

We stayed for 12 nights on a lovely, grassed site. This park has everything you need for a hassle-free stay. Even to the point of having the manager guide you to your site, then offer to park your van on the site for you! We couldn't get out of the car fast enough! The amenities are outstanding. They have several...

We stayed here for 5 nights (three different stays) over the course of two weeks in Central Australia. We selected this park based on reviews and were glad we did.First impressions on checking in were good - the staff were very friendly and cheerful. They continued to be so every time we had interactions with them. We were placed on three...

We stayed 2 nights on the grass on our way to Yulara and then 1 night on the gravel near the palms on our way back through. Absolutely loved it both times! There are plenty of showers, laundry hanging space and camp kitchen spread over the park. All staff are super friendly and willing to help where ever they can....

Great park with wonderfully helpful manager and staff. The facilities (both toilets and laundry) were outstanding. As there were washing machines just near us we saw them cleaned and disinfected each day. Other parks should learn from them. Would most definitely recommend.

We arrived back from a whirlwind 1500 Km (Uluru, King's Canyon, etc) in our Apollo campervan and called G'day Mate Tourist Park on the strength of their TripAdvisor rating. We weren't disappointed. The service was personalised (thanks Alan!) and facilities were up to scratch for tired travellers. Extras such as providing kitchen and laundry blocks were welcomed. Thank you to...

Well kept and run caravan park. Manager ( not sure if owner) always around with a friendly greeting. Facilities kept clean and well maintained. My husband used the BBQ and then went back to clean it and found it had already been cleaned.

Stayed here for a week on a powered site. You get shown to your site and offered for your van to be reversed in for you. I swallowed my pride and let them do it. When vans are parked correctly, there is room for your van, the annexe, and your car to be alongside all on the same site. The...

We didn't book. Arrived early afternoon wanting a grassy site to camp. Only one site left in entire park but checkin staff still very happy to show it to us. (Next car through the gate would have grabbed it!) It was an ensuite powered site. Luxury! Well to us jaded campers using communal facilities that weren't always up to scratch...

Booked 2 powered sites (traveling with friends)and when we arrived, discovered we had been allocated a double corner site with an onsuite bathroom. This is fantastic, as we have a toilet and shower right next to our campers. The amenities are really clean and modern. We have used the barbecue area which has 2 big barbecues, a 3-burner gas hot...
