My wife and I stayed at the Chifley for 3 nights and wished that we had stayed longer. The staff (in particular John, Marie,Chris, Angie) were absolutely super. We were looked after as if in the company of friends, everything was accomplished with a minimum of fuss and always with a big smile. We are currently in a 5 star...

We flew to Alice Springs which is a small town but a very big hub for tourism. Being a Chifley hotel I expected there would be a shuttle bus, no, catch the bus provided at the airport or a taxi. The location is pretty much perfect, very close to town, walking distance, quiet though because it's across the 'river', this...

I stayed there 3 nights as part of a Group tour. It had all the amenities you would ask for. The room was spacious, clean, lovely bed and very quiet. I was 2 doors from the lift and never heard a thing. Staff were great, meals were excellent, and close to town.

We stayed here for a total of 5 nights, before & after various tours. Both times we were in the River Gum section & we found the rooms very comfortable. A bonus was the balcony with table & chairs. We used the guest laundry a couple of times & this was convenient with an outdoor drying area as well. The...

I stayed as a solo female traveller for business purposes in May for 4 nights. Check-in: painless, quick, friendly. I noticed there are lots of coaches dropping / picking people up. Car park was regularly full and it seems the hotel provides business conferences to large groups. Room; clean, comfortable, I booked a Superior room, unfortunately didn't have a balcony...

We stayed here for a couple of nights on our way back from Uluru. The room was lovely and large with a very comfy bed. The hotel is close to town so easy to go out and get breakfast as we didn't really enjoy the one we had at the hotel BUT the restaurant is great for lunch and even...

My husband and I stayed here prior to our trip to Uluru so we weren't there very long. Our room was clean and a reasonable amount of space. The bed was comfy and very peaceful. The room was in the palm court which had a nice private patio area. We did make it into the pool for a bit since...

The Chifley is a great place tp stay whilst in Alice. Large room and bathroom (separate shower) with large balcony. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms properly cleaned. The Barra restaurant had the best char grilled barra ever tasted. If you don't have much time in Alice I recommend the half day tour 'A town like Alice' by AAT Kings.
