All the staff (reception, bar and petrol station) were very unpolite, unhappy! They need a gardener for cut the grass, for clean the swimming pool .... ! I can understand that we are in the low season but I can't understand that the trees in the pathways are not trim, going to the swimming pool and have some things under...

Only real accommodation for visiting Kings Canyon. Rooms better than look from outside. Large queen beds with all the amenities. Tv reception was poor. No free wifi. Pool was excellent in nice surroundings and very clear water. Dining options very limited - basic or a la carte. Good viewing area for sunset across Canyon.

Thank you quarryhouse99 for your review of your stay at Kings Canyon Resort in a standard room. It is lovely to hear you enjoyed the room and the oasis of the resort pool. We are located in an extremely remote region of Central Australia (Watarrka National Park) and as such are limited with access to TV signals, mobile phone (no...

Very limited selection of accommodation in the area, so basically this was the option. Beds equipped with typical layers of blankets and sheets. Aircon working after we called reception for maintenance. No wifi provided. Pool ok. Restaurant on premises served good but expensive food. Very friendly and serviceminded staff.

We stayed in a "budget double room with shared bathroom" (which was a giant toilet block) and thought with an overall rating of 3.5 that we'd be in relatively safe hands, especially somewhere that boasted it was a "resort", but we were shocked at the shabbiness of the place. Our room was a small concrete box, green and white painted...

This room was less expensive than what we paid for at the Ayers Rock Resort. The air conditioner worked well and the room was cleaner. The bathroom was huge. 5 minutes after arrival our bathroom light shorted the fuse and we lost electricity for about an hour while a very nice and very competent maintenance person came to resolve the...

Stayed here for 1 night really the only resort you can stay at in this region. Close to Kings Canyon. Staff very helpful had meal at the pub but the only food they serve there is pizzas so if you are looking for something different you are better going to restaurant next door.

It doesn't pretend to be anything other than just a clean and safe place to spend the night when you're out seeing Watarka/King's Canyon. They gave us some good hiking tips (do NOT miss the canyon rim walk, it's stunning) and put a roof over our heads after a long, hot day. They've got a general store, gas station, bar...

This is real outback territory so in view of the remoteness this is a good place to stay. We were on a self drive and stayed only 1 night before moving onto Ulhuru. Petrol is very expensive here so if you are on a self drive top up as much you can before starting out. The reception staff were very...

We stayed here for one night as part of a tour and walked the Kings Canyon rim trail the following morning which is highly recommended. Considering this is such a remote, quiet spot they do a good job in providing the facilities you need: a reasonable room, aircon, decent shower, a general store (pricey as you'd expect), and a bistro/bar...

We had an overnight stay here with our AAT Kings tour. The rooms look nothing special from the outside (think tin sheds and you won't be far out) but once in the rooms, you wouldn't know it. They are nicely fitted out and the beds are comfy. Being in the outback, there isn't a peep at night either. We had...
