We were disappointed with the weather and the view but that was not the hotels fault. But the hotel is old and shows wear. Dinner was expensive and not very good. Price of the room was expensive for the quality of the room. But you can get by with those things when you are the only/best game in town.

This hotel really did feel like a 5* hotel. Fantastic rooms and amenities, lovely general resort area. Very comfortable great and stylish room and bathroom - really nice and slick. Nice pool area with great facilities and friendly staff. The breakfast was extremely expensive (overpriced, I dare say!) so we skipped that, but we enjoyed the food at the pool...

A warm welcome and lovely hotel, Sails in the Desert was a wonderful retreat after our amazing tours! We 'lost' a handbag complete with passport and identification on a tour. Sails in the Desert located and sent our bag onto our next destination and tracked every step of the way. Tasty food for lunch in the lobby. Staff are very...

The hotel is located in the "hotel section" right near the entrance to the National Park. It is approximately a 30 minute ride to Ayers Rock/Uluru. The hotel rooms were larger than expected and we found them to be very comfortable. We were only here one night but found the staff to be friendly.

We were VERY LUCKY to be able to stay in the Sails in the Sunset where we stayed for 4 nights. Our room was large with a great view from the balcony where we could sit and watch many guests coming and going, as well as being able to look at the grounds which are magnificent with a beautiful pool...

A very comfortable and atmospheric hotel in the desert. Very friendly staff and service. Liked the aboriginal art decor. The breakfast, snacks and dinner were excellent with a wide variety of food. The seats near the pool under the eucalyptus were very comfortable. The beds were very spacious and comfortable.

This was the hotel as part of the tour we were on, it was a really good choice. After a long trip to the resort and we were keen to check in and have a shower before we went out on the next leg of the tour - when we got to the front of the line, we expected an...

Two nights here is enough to tour the area and of course it is designed to cater for a transient market. Nice, spacious rooms but they get dusty very quickly as most are accessed from outside. Well equipped. Service is ok, staff are generally very nice and helpful. The restaurant offering is adequate with a buffet type system combined with...
