Stayed in Longitude 131 during my visit to the Uluru area and this is definitely the best hotel you could get in the area. Not only that, as I have stayed many top establishments around the world, this hotel is definitely ranked among one of the top resorts. Implacable service, tastefully decorated "tents", and the best location in the area....

We spent 3 nights in the amazing setup at Longitude. Our tent roofed lodge had an unobstructed view of Uluru. The guides/staff were extremely knowledgeable and sensitive to the aboriginal peoples and their history. Any request was promptly responded to. The options for day outings were well thought out and scheduled. The food was glorious (although the dinner under stars,...

Like many Australians, we spend most of our travels venturing overseas to significant landmarks and natural wonders but neglect our own. Having never been to Uluru, Longitude 131 seemed like the ideal destination to enjoy the rock, and I'm so thankful that we did, because you get to see the rock all day from the lodge. This allows you to...

Longitude 131 falls in that category of once-in-a-lifetime experiences that you can't wait to have over and over again. Impeccable service, beautifully designed rooms, and an unbeatable view. I don't consider myself a foodie, but I would travel back to Longitude 131 for the dining experiences alone. Their guides are engaging and enthusiastic and their vehicles and well maintained, especially...

Longitude 131 provided the best guest services that I have ever seen. The staff was unbelievable and thought of absolutely everything. The gourmet meals were fantastic but if you were in the mood for something simpler they would make that happen as well. Simply put, this was the best hotel/resort guest service experience of my life. If you go to...

This property exceeded every expectation. The quality of the accomodation food facilities services and tours were simply perfect. The food quality is easily compared with fine dining experiences in Melbourne. We asked for a few little changes and nothing was ever to much trouble. We highly recommend the private dining experience ..... especially on a clear night. We stayed 2...

Seeing Uluru in person is definitely a once in a lifetime must and even if there were a few rough parts of the trip, it was worth it all for the fantastic stay and excursions. The experience begins right when you land and the staff is there waiting to take you. We were quickly whisked away and our luggage would...

This is a very high quality resort, the only place to stay. In Ayres Rock. It's expensive but then everything is paid for - fine dining, open bar and great sightseeing adventures. Just a few points : The Rangers are excellent, friendly and accommodating. Special mention to Bianca and Caroline - thanks. The trips, to avoid the heat they are...

Dear londoneagle Thank you for sharing your recent experiences at Longitude 131. We have noted your comments regarding the wifi connection; this must have been a frustrating aspect and we...

Longitude 131° offers immersion in the Australian outback, a true sense of stillness and beauty in this desert landscape, rich in cultural heritage and history. Explore the World Heritage listed wilderness of Uluru-Kata Tjuta and discover some of the ancient creation stories of the Anangu, the land's traditional custodians. Spend time exploring the diverse flora and fauna of the desert and come face to face with this irresistible land with the lodge's personally guided adventures. In the spirit of the original pioneers, stay in canopied pavilions that seem to float over the rust-red dunes. Luxuriously contemporised, today's explorers are cosseted from the elements in surrounds that favour refined comfort over ostentation. Classic furnishings meld with indigenous textures to evoke a sanctuary of earthy elegance. A private glass wall yields unparalleled views of Uluru (Ayers Rock). Exceptional cuisine celebrates a fusion of modern and local flavours. Enjoy an outback sundowner at the convivial open bar in the Dune House and dine under a glittering canopy of stars at Table 131°.
