The team and the facilities at Longitude leave nothing to be desired. The itinerary is a great mix of alone time and group activity. Two days is sufficient but three is ideal. It would be impossible to go back and stay anywhere else!

This hotel is expensive but it's really worth it! Everything is included including the trips out to the Rock. The staff are all lovely and really helpful. This really is the most luxurious way to see Uluru - from the welcoming champagne to the excellent food and accommodation! This is the nearest I'll ever get to Glamping - it's meant...

This lodge had been recommended by friends who had insisted that we should not even consider anywhere else if we were to visit Uluru. They were right. We had the most memorable stay. From the meet and greet at the airport to the champagne (Louis Roederer) and cold towels on arrival at the lodge, the stunning uninterrupted view of Uluru...

We were undecided whether to visit Uluru due to the distance ,but are so pleased we did. Longitude 131 is expensive but it has become a highlight of our 4 week trip. From the moment you arrive at the airport you are looked after,& you are greeted with a very welcome glass of champagne. The accommodation is wonderful, with stunning...

Dear Claire R Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed and positive review. We’re thrilled by every compliment – most especially that you consider Longitude 131 the highlight of your Australian itinerary! It’s wise to expect flies and insects – they’re an unavoidable part of outback life - and we’re pleased to hear their impact was...

Longitude 131 is simply stunning. The 'tents' are the last word in luxury and the view of Uluru from each one is spectacular. No expense has been spared and every tiny little detail has been thought of. The staff are clearly very highly trained and are very friendly and knowledgable. The excursions were fantastic and were included in our stay....

This hotel is really impressive, to be an all inclusive hotel. the location is amazing, the view of my tent was breathtaking, I will never forget this experience. The staff did everything so good, all of them are so nice, helpful and very kind people. I can write anything bad about this luxurious hotel of Australia. It meets all the...

This was a truly wonderful experience. The food and drinks were of an extremely high quality and the staff were all very helpful and keen to help in any way. The trips were well organised and great fun and having canapés and drinks added the icing to the cake. The rooms were very well appointed with a comfortable bed, unrivalled...

A truly healing experience. I can say that I will be making a trip back to Australia just for the resort alone. We were treated as friends from the moment we arrived until the very sad moment of departure where the staff went above and beyond to pack us each a lovely lunch that we could take with us onto...

Decided to do a two night stay arrived in time to enjoy lunch on day one. The food at Longitude 131 is truly amazing, utilising Australias finest produce from far and wide. The bottomless variety of wine and drinks in general made the meals that little bit more special. The guides were all well informed, incredibly polite and were a...

During our honeymoon my husband and I decided to stay at Longitude 131 to live the experience of a luxury camping in a place we were dreaming since we were young. We are grateful to have chosen Longitude! Our dream became real, we slept in front of Uluru in Kidman tent, at the arrival they welcome us at the airport...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Longitude 131° offers immersion in the Australian outback, a true sense of stillness and beauty in this desert landscape, rich in cultural heritage and history. Explore the World Heritage listed wilderness of Uluru-Kata Tjuta and discover some of the ancient creation stories of the Anangu, the land's traditional custodians. Spend time exploring the diverse flora and fauna of the desert and come face to face with this irresistible land with the lodge's personally guided adventures. In the spirit of the original pioneers, stay in canopied pavilions that seem to float over the rust-red dunes. Luxuriously contemporised, today's explorers are cosseted from the elements in surrounds that favour refined comfort over ostentation. Classic furnishings meld with indigenous textures to evoke a sanctuary of earthy elegance. A private glass wall yields unparalleled views of Uluru (Ayers Rock). Exceptional cuisine celebrates a fusion of modern and local flavours. Enjoy an outback sundowner at the convivial open bar in the Dune House and dine under a glittering canopy of stars at Table 131°. Quieten to the night sounds of the desert and be mesmerised by the movement and songs of an ancient culture by firelight. Timeless and enriching, Longitude 131° promises a transcendent connection with this spirited land. ... more   less
