If you travel a lot occasionally you come across a perfect resort. We have traveled all over the world and stayed at numerous five and six star hotels and resorts. This One definitely ranks among the top 10. Everything is perfect about this resort. The...More
Our stay at Longitude 131 was amazing! The service started with the pick up at the Airport and it did not stop there. Champagne and lunch awaited us at our arrival at the resort. Michael allowed us to enjoy a leisurely lunch before checking us...More
Felicity the general manager and her assistant Michael are just fantastic. Their team made us more then welcome. Landing at Uluru Airport we were welcomed by Carolyn, another Michael and Mikki. Before we knew luggage was taken from our hands and lunch was already prepared...More
Absolutely top-notch stay, great tours, great guides, good food, great service.
What else can I say - highly recommended.
One thing though - I do not advice staying longer than 3 or 4 days - after you have done the tours to Uluru and other...More

From being collected from the airport to your return (they even print the boarding cards for you, and give...More

Thank you for your review. We're thrilled that overall your experience of Longitude 131 delivered on expectations - from the quality of cuisine and interpretive touring to the comfort of your tent (hot weather aside - if only we could control it!).

It seems a bit of a shame to cancel your trip. However arriving in February is going to be very hot as it's kind of peak summer heat. I guess it does depend how you handle the heat. All of the lodges are air conditioned and the busses that they use are all air conditioned as well. Field of lights , because it's after dark, will be cooler. The temperature tends to drop a lot once the sun goes down.
The flies could well be bad, but hey that's why the locals will be using a large can of aero guard. And I'm sure the staff will be very attentive to try and minimise your discomfort.
I don't know if that helps, if you can reschedule there are better times of the year to visit.
I just wore my ordinary sneakers and had no problems. Just do the walks at your own pace, no one pushes or tries to hurry you, just make sure you always carry enough water. They look after you really well.
Have a great time
