The Paravista has everything you need for a no frills motel room in the leafy suburbs. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, the decent sized bar fridge is good for storage and bathrooms are fine. And it has big mugs for tea/coffee (an essential for me!). A good writing desk if you want to get some work done....

Paravista Motel is basic accommodation but definitely overpriced for what you get. We arrived to a very hot room and the AC unit was so noisy it made it difficult to sleep. The room wasn't dirty but it wasn't very clean. All in all not a great experience especially considering the price. The staff were responsive and helpful over email...

My boyfriend, his mom and I stayed at Paravista for 6 nights - We arrived late Weds night from Melbourne and left the following Monday night. We rented a car and were able to park in the motel parking lot. Our room came with one single and one double bed, ensuite bathroom, closet, TV, mini fridge and cabinet with bowls,...

Stayed for three nights in a ground floor unit. The motel is in a quiet residential street in the suburb of Parap. By car 10-15 minutes to the centre of Darwin. The bed was comfy and the blockout curtains kept the morning light put for a good sleep in! The motel is old built after Cyclone Tracey but in good...

This motel is easy to get to - one street from the Stuart Highway. It is close to the city centre and we found it an easy walk to Mindil Beach. We chose the motel because it had outdoor parking - we have a high vehicle so we avoid the hotels in the city centre that have under cover parking....

We had a double room on the ground floor. Although the premises is a bit "tired", it was clean and adequate. It was obviously suffering from a lack of custom, as there were few guests, but it was in the off season. The people running the establishment were wonderful, and were very helpful. Its location close to the Parap shopping...

Friendly helpful staff, clean and great rates. Location is perfect for Mindil markets and sunset. Close to CBD. Staff could not do enough to make our stay great. They were good at recommending things to see and do and also with car hire got us a great value place to rent a car.

I am a solo traveller. It is a cheaper motel out of Darwin central at Parap. Close to Parap shopping and markets. It is an old motel so it has history. The room was clean and had and has the basic ammenities. The only hassle was there is no lift so if you are loaded with baggage. (Like I was!)...
