Great location, plenty of storage space in new lockers in all rooms, Some locals here but starting to leave or moved on so not a problem. Breakfast is still available unreal as no one else supplies it anymore. Average size pool but so relaxing. Manager works very hard to make sure your stay is a good one- well done, P.S...

I moved up from Adelaide and was looking for somewhere cheap to stay until I found work etc. Pay the extra $$$ to stay somewhere else that way you will get clean bed linen and nice service. I didn't get either of these when I stayed at Frogshollow.

3 people COVERED in bites from bed bugs in different rooms all 3 coming from different places so we didn't bring them with us. After two years backpacking in hostels and not ever experiencing them it was definitely a disappointment. hostel as a whole has some friendly characters but also some questionable ones due to what I'm guessing comes from...

Frogshollow is a typical cheapest rent in town hostel. It's not the cleanest of places, but it's suitable enough. The manager and parts of the other staff are friendly and try to make the best out what it is. Darwin is a plenty small enough town that being a block or two off the main strip is no drama. Everything...

Dirty place. Weird people. The window can't be closed completely so I couldn't fall asleep because of the People talking and playing music until late right outside my room -.- It's located in a good position and has relatively good prices.

The only "working hostel" in town. I used the quote unquote because basically some daily job pops-up sometimes, better than nothing. It should deserve 3/5 because it's actually average (not too bad but nothing special) but Mark found for me a good job in construction for 6 weeks and with that I could actually finish my farm work..YEAH! I have...

We stayed here for 4 nights during our stay in Darwin and we upgraded to a private double from a share which I'm so glad we did, it's so hot and would have been awful sharing with so many people. The room itself was fine we had a sink and fridge. The bathroom was very average, 2/4 showers worked, one...

We recently re visited this nice little place just out of the city and all the noise, New fresh paint, air conditioners , linen and storage facilities. Big difference to Mid last year the new owners have hit a home run with the great renovations, love the new security fence and garden. Well done

This place gets quite a bad rep. Sure it aint the Ritz but it's got a lot of character. For the night I was there I liked it. I slept solidly, all the facilities worked, other residents are pretty friendly, it was quiet after midnight and I got the things I asked for in reception. I'd stay there again.

Every cent you pay is too much for this hostel! It was a horrible night, the bed was full of bedbugs. But it's not only the bedbugs, the toilets and showers were dirty and the staff was quite unfriendly
