Staff is kind, clean room, quiet place, But it located high place. So you have heavy luggage? Use taxi. Public toilet and sower booth but not crowded. near market, and kitchen stuff is clean. If you use kitchen stuff, you will wash you used.

When I'm traveling abroad you'll find me at hotels & motels & also the occasional apartment :), but all of these were way over priced for the 4 nights that i wanted to stay in Brizzy for. Kookaburra Inn has private bedrooms and then with everything else is shared. Never had the chance to stay at a hostel before but...

This lovely little hotel is a great balance of everything - tucked away in a quiet area, yet close to the city and busier areas. As a single traveller, I had my own privacy and space in my adequately sized room which had its own fridge (VERY helpful), desk and sink, yet the communal TV room, kitchen and outdoor areas...

On first arriving at Kookaburra, you can be forgiven for thinking you are in the wrong place. It is not commercial at all. It looks like an ordinary house, but the hostel is downstairs, the rooms are very clean as is everywhere. It's a very quiet area and close to the city and the Valley. A very good price for...

This motel was in a quiet area but only 10 minute walk from Central or Fortitude Valley train stations. Bus stops were even closer. Facilities and room were clean and tidy. Shared kitchen, lounge, toilet and shower. We enjoyed our stay and would use it again

I loved the location of the hotel. Close to the city yet away from the hustle and bustle of it. It looks like a private property converted into a hotel. So you will have a homely feeling. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Bathrooms/toilets are shared yet very tidy. Shared kitchen facility is also there with all necessary utensils/crockery and...

I stayed two nights at Kookaburra Inn and was very satisfied. My private room had a single bed and a sink, as well as a window and shelves. The shared shower and toilets were kept clean and almost always available. The shared kitchen was small, but had everything I needed for quick meals. The back courtyard is a great place...

Real value for money. Also very flexible with check-in / check-out times. Highly convenient location within walking distance of the city centre or Fortitude Valley for shops, sightseeing, restaurants and pubs

We did stay for three nights at Kookaburra Inn and it is a great place to stay if you want to discover Brisbane. Only a short walk to lots of nice places in the city. The hotel itself is simple but clean. The owners are very kind and helpful. Read other reviews for more details. Considering the price we think...
