The accomodation seems to have been recently renovated. Very clean and modern without of functional use of space in the room. The old hotel part of the complex is gorgeous with a lovely outdoor dining area. Staff were attentive and very friendly.

We had an accommodation booking but arrived late after closing and with a few knocks on the window were let in without problem. The hotel is a historic remodelled Queenslander style wooden building with beautiful frontage and nice pub and restaurant. Our room upstairs at the back was only average but large and clean enough. The hotel location is very...

Had a large group of people meet for dinner. All had good quality meals. Then having drinks, when at 9.50pm on a Saturday night, the staff told us we have to move into the gaming room. Sorry, but who wants to go out with friends to be surrounded by poker machines! So instead of staying for a few more drinks,...

We booked an air-conditioned room in the hope of getting a good night's sleep before work the next day given that the daytime temperature was to be 39 degrees C that day. Unfortunately, we couldn't sleep because the air-conditioning unit was so loud & we needed to scale the bed to reach the unit to either change the temperature or...

the location of the hotel was very close to the beach & our destination. Checked in to be told we had been upgraded to an apartment, lovely little surprise. fully self contained and very comfortable. The fig restaurant was lovely. Our only disappointment was one staff member who needed her customer service skills retrained.

Annie and I stopped off here for Sunday Lunch, Annie had a delicious salmon fillet and my steak was cooked perfectly and the chips stayed crisp right to the end of the dish. The bar and wait staff were very efficient and friendly

The 4 of us stayed here overnight before heading over to Moreton Island camping. The 2 rooms were very good, very clean, no problems there, we were able to park the 2 4WDs under cover off the road.We decided to eat in the Restaurant at the Pub, we will not be eating there next trip.

Disgusting - ordered "Tempura" whiting with Asian slaw. The cook (I cannot refer to whoever it was as a chef) needs to google what tempura is and maybe google a couple of recipes. Worst deep fried coating ever. Also should google a decent Asian slaw recipe. $25 for the crappiest meal in a long time.
