On arrival, there was no one to greet me or take the car which can only be valet parked for the princely sum of $55 per day. Reception staff was unfriendly, did not direct me to the lift which resulted in me going down to the lobby area- there are 2 different lifts going to different parts of the hotel....

Great Hotel and position, Central to Brisbane River, restaurants and city amenities. Loved our room, service from hotel staff was excellent, nothing was a problem. Being our first time to Brisbane we felt really welcome. My wife and I had a really good time, didn't want to leave...thoroughly recommended. 10 out of 10 Garry and Karina Musgrove from NSW Hunter...

Pros - staff were great, food was reasonable, bed was comfortable, view was great of the river. Cons - dinner at $70 per person seems a bit rich for a few prawns and a bit of crab, for the people that don't eat oysters, this would have been very disappointing. Every hot dish had coriander in it I'm sure, now...

I stayed three nights in March. It is a business hotel, a bit dated, in need of renovations. The hotel is very clean and located a few blocks from downtown Brisbane. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Excellent service at the bar and the lounge. It has a pool on the 4th floor and a limited fitness centre if you...

Check in staff were very helpful and friendly, not just because I was paying for an upgrade of my original booking. The upgrade was with it, still an average price but with a view of the river and the 'cliffs' along south bank. The ligniting storm that night above the cliffs was sensational. Plenty of restaurants nearby, along the river....

Stayed three nights - booked an executive room which had a view of Neighbouring flats and a construction site. Room comfortable but small, bathroom dark but appreciated the bath and separate shower.
