Average if you like casino's , found it a bit confined decore was nice but very noisey which is not my idea of fun. But if you are into this type of entertainment then its handy and very acessible. Been to a few casinos over the years and find the new zealand ones far more attractive than Australian ones

Excellent return visit. Unfortunately I was in a bit of a mood due to a lack of sleep and subsequently missing a flight. I had only stayed there once, but the lovely Asian check in lady (who's name I forget) personally remembered me previously and informed me that she checked me in last time. I jokingly said I hope it... More

Pretty nice place to stay. Comfortable, clean and fancy. The bar is good for a few and the food is good there too. Service at check in was slow and disjointed, stuffing up one of the bookings. Also struggled to advise when the rooms were ready and had to ask when our bags are going to be brought up. I... More

My "husband to be" booked a suite at the Brisbane Treasury Heritage hotel across the road from the casino the night before our wedding - just for me. The room was MASSIVE. The tub in the bathroom was so deep I swear I could have been in a pool! The views were directly across from the Brisbane wheel at Southbank... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and it was a marvelous experience. The staff were all very friendly and the room was top notch. Given it was the ex-treasury building, you can expect top quality architecture which is wonderful just to admire. It is also very convenient (right in the centre of the CBD) and has its... More

I originally reviewed this hotel back in January and loved it so thought I would book it for a night out in the city for my husband's birthday. The address given was William Street so I thought we were staying on the hotel side. At check-in we were told we were staying on the casino side. So we walked across... More

Highly recommend you try this place out when in Brisbane. 10 minutes walk to Southbank and even closer to the city centre. Have to make special mention of the King sized bed and down pillows - one of the bed hotel beds I have slept in. Fantastic rooms in this place with 15 foot ceilings and a real historic ambience.

From the outside the Treasury Hotel has fantastic facades and when you step inside you are transported back to a time when staying in a hotel was an experience! The front foyer leads to an early 20th century lift (still in working order but a bit slow). Most of the original interior fittings have been preserved. I have now stayed... More
