If you are going to Brisbane ( IF ), and you need to stay in a hostel, then go straight to the YHA with no doubts. The price is few bucks more expensive than the other hostels you find in Roma st, but definitely the best, under all the aspects. Clean, great stuff, huge, great rooms and great rooftop.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the YHA in June for three nights. Overall we were left unimpressed by the hostel for a number of reasons. 1. Our private double room was on floor 1. The room lacked any comfort in that it was more like a hospital ward than a bedroom. The lighting was awful and similar to a...

Dear Emma, Thank you for reviewing your recent stay at Brisbane City YHA. I was disappointed to read that our hostel did not meet your expectations. We try to leave our guests with a wonderful experience each and every time they visit and this is not the usual feedback we receive. I am sorry to read that the private room...

We did stay in a double room but we used the shared bathrooms. The room was basic but perfectly adequate and didn't feel like a hostel room! The bathrooms were always spotless and there was always hot water, there were hairdryers which was also a bonus! The facilities were brilliant, the tv lounges, games room, laundrette and reception were fantastic....

My boyfriend and I have been travelling for four months and have always stay at YHA. This is by far the best one we have stayed at. We had a private room which was small but a perfect size room to sleep before a day of exploring. It was a big kitchen area and plenty of quiet spaces to relax....

I stayed one night in this Hostel. There's a night manager available and it wasn't a problem to check in after midnight. I told the guy at the reception that I want a quite room away from the railway. But I still heard the train. The room was clean and the bathroom facilities also except the toilets. I checked out...

This hostel has recently been renovated. It is very modern and extremely clean and the staff although quiet at times are helpful when needed. There is limited parking but is a 5 minute walk from the coach and train station. I stayed at this accomodation twice, my first time was in a private double ensuite room. The room was very...

Clean, professional, modern and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, from the large, bright kitchen and dining area to the friendly staff and social events. I stayed here on two occasions, the first time I actually got upgraded to a private, two share room, which was great, and the second time I was in a 4 share dorm. Both...

I stayed at the Brisbane YHA for much longer then I anticipated because it was such a great environment. From the cleanliness of every aspect of the place, to the warm friendly staff and the amazing people I met there, it is the only place I ever want to stay in Brisbane. There is the standard set-up of only being...

I already knew that YHA Hostels are actually like Hotels, they are very clean etc., but the YHA in Brisbane was the best Hostel ever! They have a Pool on the rooftop! The common areas are very good, the rooms, 4bed / 2bed rooms are very big! You have your personal locker to keep your stuff safe! I totally recommand...

This YHA is the biggest hostel I have ever stayed in. Like every YHA they have a free Wi-Fi hotspot in the lounge area. Location is not great but this is were all the backpacker places are. About 20 minute walk to city centre but close to train and bus station. Very clean hostel, only bad thing.. The hostel is...
