We ordered a child's meal and some garlic bread which came out first and pretty quick, that was good. Mains took quite a while to come out but were very tasty - I ordered chicken schnitzel - expecting you basic pub meal but in was real chicken with what appeared to be home made crumbs on the outside - very...

I was here for a family event last week. We had about 10 people at our table and we were the only ones there. Being a vego, i was already a bit disappointed by the lack of variety on the menu. I decided to get the pasta with garlic bread, i had 4 mouthfuls and had to stop. The sauce...

We had to pay a $100 bond on the room, which was never mentioned when we booked the room, it was only when we got there to stay that they told us we had to pay, we still haven't got our bond back yet either!. Rooms are old and not sure where their freshly renovated rooms are as they state...

We had lunch here again yesterday, second time in a few months. The menu has been revamped and for pub food it is very good. We both had the fish, 3 pieces, chips and salad ($16.75) and it was delicious. The salad was very fresh and tasty. There is a variety of choices on the menu, all reasonably priced. If...

We were up from northern NSW...needed accom in/near Sandgate just for sleeping, before meeting family and friends early the next day...checked-in at about 8.30pm...settled into our room then had a couple of $10+ drinks (a tad exxy?) before bed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room #4 was extremely 'tired' and in need of updating, but it had air...

Thought I would try the local hotel with friends as it recently had a restaurant makeover. Chef was unable to cater for a friend who was vegetarian, as everything, apart from wedges on the new menu contained meat. Even asked for a salad without the meat, but was told we couldn't do this. Interior of pub ok, staff friendly enough...

We stayed 1 night. The room is dated and yes you can"t fill the jug from the vanity unit tap, but hey use your imagination and use a glass to fill it, takes you 30 seconds. Our room was very clean, bed extra comfortable. There was a queen and single bed in the room. Jan who took my booking and...

We had a large rowdy table of family at The Brighton Hotel's new restaurant, Charlie's, for Mother's Day dinner. The children were well catered for with simple meals that included a drink, ice-cream and an activity pack. Adults were well fed on steak, chips and a variety of traditional pub type meals.

Ohh My God!!! Where do I start! First up..there is no sign anywhere to point you where reception is! Signs every where for Pokies. Says a lot about this place. Happy to take your money gambling...couldn't give a rats about people staying here! Room. Bad, sad joke! Terrible cheap room freshener/perfume smell for starters. Bathroom reeks so badly and strongly...
