Edward Lodge is one of those gems tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood just minutes from the CBD. Our room was spacious and well appointed and there is a great breakfast room on the main floor with so many do it yourself options for breakfast. Our host Philip was always available for answering our questions. They have some bikes...

I had the pleasure of staying at Edward Lodge during three hot summer days and was pleased with the air con comfort of my room, everything was comfy and the room size great, water pressure in the shower great, attention to detail great, fo me it was a five star stay, close to city on buses and ferries, and the...

I've stayed at Edward Lodge many times over the last decade. New Farm has well-used parklands, is on the river, good public transport by either City Cat or bus, wide choice of restaurants, coffee shops etc. Edward Lodge has undergone renovations over the last 12 months, and is revitalised and charming - highly recommended!!

Luckily there was a special room left for me after emergency eye surgery in January this year . As I was a return costumer i had very minimal to do, so I could just arrive and go to bed to recover. Good bed and luckily a quiet night .

Edward Lodge has it all. Clean , quiet, friendly, organised, client focussed, location. Very short walk to New farm shops where you have supermarket, the best fruit and veg shop in Sth Queensland, an exceptional deli, and restaurants. On a bus route, beside the City Cat river ferries, and 10 mins drive to downtown Brisbane, and next to wonderful New...

Stayed in this B&B for 3 nights. I made a mistake with my booking, but the staff were very understanding and fixed it without any problem. Nice atmosphere, quiet and classy. Plenty of car park available which is a big plus for Brisbane. The building is old but nicely renovated. Location is amazing for a relaxing trip or a romantic...

Wonderfully comfortable bed. Convenient location, all facilities close by. Service was second to none. Rooms were almost completely sound proof, and spacious. On-street parking was the only downside, but we had no problem.

The weekend we stayed in Brisbane it was a heatwave with record temperatures of 39+ degrees. As cute and lovely as the lodge looked upon entering there is no aircon at all in the foyer, hallway or dining room! It was disgustingly hot and when being shown into our room they hadn't even set or turned on the aircon in the...

Dear Gavin & Sophia, We are sorry you found the foyer, passage and the outdoor breakfast area hot on your arrival, 39 c degrees in Brisbane can be unpleasant. It is our practice to have the room air conditioners on for our guests arriving however you arrived at 11.30am, well before our normal check in time of 2.00pm, not withstanding...

Spent just the one night at Edward Lodge with my wife. Excellent accomodation in a very quiet part of Brisbane. We stayed in room 1 which we found very spacious. Very comfortable bed and room has all that you would need. Complimentary Breakfast was very healthy, with two varieties of Muesli, bread, jams, OJ, fruit and Nepsresso coffee. Dinning area...
