My wife and I went on a three day/two night trip to the GBR and it more than lived up to our expectations; it was fantastic. Our cabin had more space than a small motel room with a double bed and en-suite. The shower was very good with unlimited hot water. The meals were very good with everyone eating together....

This trip was great and we totally lucked it in, by just booking as it looked like a good deal. Turns out it was a great deal with the service and food so much better then we had expected. Others on the trip had booked after doing lots of research but we had just come across the deal through SSI...

Reef encounter and rain forest tour were both great. On reef encounter: they are very professional getting you onto the boat, be sure to have you dive card handy. They'll give you plenty of opportunities each day (and night) you're on to get in dives/snorkeling. The staff are a lot of fun and very hospitable, food is great too. On...

One of the best cost/benefit in terms of money and time to dive at the Great Barrier Reef. Cosy bedrooms, comfortable leather coaches, awesome well balanced food, good quality equipments, professional photographers, diving briefings, after diving showers. The experience of relaxing in a leather sofa just after you take off your wet suit is wonderful. I will repeat the experience,...

We stayed on the boat two days-one night and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Australia. The rooms are nice and the staff is wonderful. Every single detail is taken care of. The staff really knows how to run the operation. Food is excellent, they even accommodated the menu with special dishes for our kids. We...

Spent two days and one night on Reef Encounter after four nights at the Sheraton in Port Douglas. Very unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience to sleep 35 miles offshore and have the ability to snorkel 6 times in different locations. Significantly less other snorkelers than the day trips which is great as you don't feel like you're around 800 other people...

We stayed at the reef encounter 3 days / 2 nights. I'm sorry about about this review, ad the young staff is really very helpful and kind. Moreover, there is a great attention to safety procedures, so that you can snorkel or dive without any concern. Great pictures shot by the on board photographer. What went wrong were the boat...

I spent 2 nights/3 days on Reef Encounter and it was the perfect experience on the reef. You visit up to 3 different reef sites per day and there's an opportunity to snorkel or dive every 2 hours. The staff is great, the reef sites are beautiful with lots of coral and sea life, the rooms are very spacious (if...
