I stayed at the Queenslander for 7 days with my wife and son. The room was spacious, clean, and the staff was pleasant. The overhead fans and a/c worked to keep the room comfortable without a lot of noise. The swimming pool was clean but unheated, so we did not use it. The small refrigerator was quiet. Outdoor parking was...

The rooms are lovely. But they do not offer the services which they advertise. Their advertising is deceptive and misleading. Do not stay here based on a claim made by the hotel. It is not accurate and you will be very disappointed. Oh and I've attached an image of my bed for you. The floor was cleaner and had less...

Lovely place welcoming friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean and also very spacious. The kids had fun swimming in the pool. Shops not far walking distance, and muddies is not far to walk to take along the kids. The hotel felt very safe and we felt comfortable to stay here. I will be brining my family back here...

The rooms are very big and can easily sleep 6 persons which is great for families. The rooms are clean and well presented. Management can organise tours on site and have a restaurant. located about a 2 kilometre walk to town however walk along the esplanade and you wont care. Public buses at the door. Around good stay

We stayed here for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom unit - as have teenage son. He loved it as he got his own lockable room off ours. Rooms were a good size - but strangely laid out kitchen sink area. Fridge was very noisy - so we turned it off at night so we could sleep. Staff were very...

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The reception staff were friendly and kind even when they seemed busy. The room was spacious and well-equipped. But it was a bit disappointing that the room wasn't cleaned up during my stay. I also didn't really like the bathroom with no door, which easily made the floor get wet. Still there...

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for six nights. Extremely clean, very comfortable in a great location, all staff friendly and very helpful. The price was reasonable and if in cairns again we would definitely stay here again.

We flew up to cairns during a holiday to Australia. We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. It is in a quite part of Lake Street, just back from the esplanade, but it is a bit of a walk to the restaurants and shops. Our room was very bright and spacious and the waterfall shower was amazing.

Reception staff very friendly on arrival. Room was large and clean. Bed average tea and coffee provided with enough milk for a couple of cups. Free wifi. Very convenient to local access and the esplanade. Restaurant and in room dining, very average. Had a lot of trouble trying to get hold of the restaurant for booking a table or room...

We chose this hotel as we wanted three beds and a good sized room for three adults. These requirements were well served. Little things that could be improved would be the provision of face washers and tissues in room and a broom if daily vacuuming is not part of housekeeping. Our floor was not swept or vacuumed the whole week...
