Phoned to reserve "directy" with Royal Palm Villas. Phone answered by Helen who did not identify herself, was very rude as I mentioned I had been looking on Booking.com, gave me a quote then said, "You are not going to book with them now, are you". On arrival Peter came to counter, same "frosty" reception. Could not believe it, if... More

This is a great family hotel, our room is a generous size with kitchenette, it also has a washer and dryer, comfy bed, WiFi and Foxtel included. Staff lovely and very helpful and has an awesome pool which my 5yo daughter had a ball in. We will be back!!

Stayed in ground floor room for 4 nights. Big apartment and very comfortable, even though the furnishings are somewhat dated. Nice to have a private patio too. Manager was very helpful and organised all our sight seeing trips for us. As other reviews state it is nice and quiet being set back from road, noisiest thing was the train going... More

I stayed here for 40 days, during which time I was doing shift work at the hospital. The management were very considerate of my need for quiet and privacy and always very pleasant and helpful. The level of hygiene is high and I particularly enjoyed the pool, which is pristine. I was in the top front unit, (16) which definitely... More

I would not recommend this place for anybody to stay at. The husband and wife who run it were very rude and unwelcoming. The room was dingy and hot. We originally had booked for 6 nights but checked out after the first night. I emailed the manager a few weeks after we checked out explaining how disappointed we were and... More

The rooms are standard but clean and spacious and close to town. That's as good as it gets... The whole time we stayed here we were being watched constantly by the older man and women running the place (in person and on security cameras). They are both most unpleasant. They exchange nasty looks and question you daily (very nosey). If... More

The room was clean and spacious enough with free "pay" TV, wireless internet, comfortable bed and a good kitchen. The Manager was helpfull and welcoming. He arranged taxi's, tours, anything we wanted. He told us some good things to do and where to shop. It was a 20min walk to town and about 10min to the Esplanade. Our room was... More

Although the room was very clean and tidy, it was very dated and noisy. The louvered windows allowed fighting from the room below us no peace until Midnight which the owners did not address. When the female owner was approached she was volatile and aggressive and had me in tears and told me I was too snobby to stay there... More

I stayed here for two nights. I wasn't looking for anything amazing just a nice room and a pool. The room whilst old was definitely functional and comfortable. The pool is quite cool and I'm sure kids would get a kick our of swimming under the bridge that cars drive over to enter. Note the pool pictures listed is not... More

While the unit managers were very friendly and helpful, the unit we stayed in was very dated and tired, well past its prime. We were told that the condition of the apartments was due to the refusal of the owners to do any maintenance! Despite the problems, the apartment was quiet, very well fitted and quite comfortable. The location of... More
