An OK stay for the price. I believe we could do better. The room was a bit tired, but had what we needed. Basic kitchenette, dining table, sofa, TV, bed, bathroom & small balcony. There was a bit of a funky smell when we arrived courtesy of the previous occupants. The hotel is about 2k from the CBD. On a...

I'm sorry to hear that your stay with us was Just OK. It is always disappointing for us when a guest leaves feeling they could have stayed somewhere better. We are continually upgrading our rooms and new furniture was installed in all studios earlier this year so am slightly at a loss as to why our studios would appear "tired"...

The Reef Palms is about 2km from the city center, so if you've hired a car it's a great location - only a couple minutes from the marina and a couple minutes from the airport. The room was comfortable and clean, and ours had a small balcony. We also had a kitchenette which was convenient for making breakfast in the...

Very friendly and helpful staff with modest accommodations and price. Compared to other hotels in this price range it would be ranked a 5, but I rank a 3 when compared to all (more expensive) options. Room was quiet, tidy and bit aged, but we did not book this to have luxury accommodations. Hotel is located about a 10-15 minute...

As we reached the reception, Colleen gave us a very welcoming atmosphere, and made us feel that we will surely be taken care of during our stay at Reef Palms. The room given to us was big and it was just beside the pool which was awesome as it gave us quick access to have a quick dip after a...

Great place to be in, 10 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from the central area. Nice and comfortable rooms with helpful staff. You can book your day tour from the hotel and make the necessary arrangements. The swimming pool was great as well. We really enjoyed our stay there. The only comment I have is for the breakfast and...

Thank you for staying with us and glad you enjoyed your time in Cairns. Sorry about the internet, I know we had a server problem that took a couple of days to rectify - the joys of living in a country town rather than a big City I'm afraid.

The friendliest staff I have ever encountered. It was a homely experience and handy location to bus into town and to northern beaches. The rooms were spacious and the pool refreshing. A fantastic place to end our holiday. We plan to return next year.

Very friendly reception staff and comfortable, ground floor room near the car park. Ideal for us as we were really only using this as a base. Great to have a shuttle bus facility to The Esplanade at 6.30pm - with only about a $10 taxi ride back after dinner, you don't need to be in the centre. Flight path overhead,...

We stayed here for the first couple of nights of our holiday. It was easy access from the airport and two blocks from the Esplanade. We had a hire car so the drive in to town was not far. The motel offers lifts into town with their courtesy bus and also have the bus timetable readily available. The room we...

We appreciated the availability and friendliness of Coleen (and other staff we don't know the names) and her efficiency to provide good advise and organise activites for us (including driving the hotel bus back and forth to the marina). Hotel is very close to airport but requires a 20 mn walk to go downtown, although it was no a problem...
