Stayed with family for a sat night in port. The staff that checked me in were rude and my room had a stange odour. After speaking with the manager who was very helpful i was moved to a room with a window that opens and was able to have fresh air in my room. The buffet was very average, mostly...

Whilst we couldn't fault the resort itself and the cleanliness and size of the villa we were very disappointed in the appearance and facilities of the villa. We had some minor issues on arrival that were dealt with but started the downward slope. The resort has apparently recently undergone a multimillion dollar upgrade and is touted as being 5 star....

Renovations now completed and resort looking smart The huge pools are definitely the best feature of this resort. Rooms are much bigger than normal and very comfortable. Downside is a car is needed to get around. Hired bikes which were delivered to hotel - a great service. Breakfast good but service a bit chaotic- empty tables but guests standing around...

Three nights here in April. Placed in lagoon side rooms, elegant and with easy access to the pool. The pools here are very pleasant, and we enjoyed spending time relaxing on the pool beach, swimming, and walking on the nearby four mile beach. The staff was generally excellent and highly responsive to our needs. Special thanks to Shani who was...

We visited the property for coffee and a bite on the way from Port Douglas to Cairns. We did not stay in this resort so I cannot comment on the room. We were curious to see the facilities compared to other Sheratons and luxury resorts we had been. This resort stands out in Port Douglas, probably one of the better...

My family and I have owned a villa here for 20 years. We use all the resort facilities and we have always looked so much forward to coming here every year. However, since new management has taken over, the resort has has clearly shifted to try to make more money out of guests. After attempting to sign in to use...

Some hotels have really changed the game and redefined what 5 star is? The Sheraton mirage is not one of them. It is a nice hotel with a good refreshed interior design and a fantastic pool. If it wasn't for the pool, it would probably struggle for 4 stars. The Beach is great for walks and runs but no good...

My family and I spent a wonderful holiday at the Sheraton Mirage. The rooms are extremely comfortable and sizeable - excellent beds and pillows. The breakfast that came complimentary with our package was more than generous and the poolside beverages and food were also top class - the staff sometimes too polite but a very welcome trait. Ended our stay...

We had a Villa 409 on the beach on north side - fantastic. Breakfast should not be charged for children under 10! Lack of food choice is a problem for those who don't have a car and rely on local shuttle service. A resort this big should have multiple restaurants and not be charged a fortune for simple foods. A...

My granddaughter and I had one of the big 52sqm rooms in the north wing which was beautifully decorated, spacious and quiet. It was a fair walk from the lobby and dining area so we used the buggy service which was fantastic!
