Nothing can beat tropical north Queensland for leisure and relaxation and this lush setting has it all even though 'teething problems' were obvious with the refurbishments and hiring of newly trained staff. The lagoons and pools are necessary as one cannot swim in the sea year round, even though the beach is right on the doorstep. Make sure you heed...

February is a good time of year to stay here as you can avoid the hordes of children flooding the pool during school holidays. Service at the pool bar is great, but the cocktails could be better. Overall a good experience but the food from Feast restaurant really could be improved. Do not order the steak!

Me and my husband took months deciding on the perfect hotel for our honeymoon in Port Douglas and it was worth it! The concierge were so lovely and helpful and wouldn't let us carry one thing to our rooms, they insisted on carrying everything for us and showed up directly to our room. We were taken by golf cart which...

We were very impressed by the cleanliness and by how well the hotel was maintained. It was probably due to us being there in low season, but it felt like we had the resort to ourselves. With 5 acres of pools, it felt like we had our own private pool. Highly recommend attending in February where it feels like there...

Have been here a number of times. A recent major refurb has improved the look of the resort no end. Light and airy Reception, now with a cafe/bar so if you're waiting for a shuttle bus or pickup, you can get a snack, drink or coffee. The rooms are brighter if a bit monochrome (shades of grey, white, beige and...

Went here in December with two families. The resort is built for families. The pool and facilities are amazing and kids would probably not want much more. The vegetarian spread at breakfast on day one was quite poor. So we let the F&B manager know. They certainly did their best to look after us from this point onwards. The rooms...

Most staff very friendly one minor problem a staff member at pool who did not seem to want to be there otherwise all staff were great. Pool edge room was great with access to pool made much easier. Renovations have really revitalised the place. Took advantage of the $15 Eco service which is a nice touch. The only problem we...
