No restaurant and bar was only open limited hours. No convenience store nearby for food. Also no complimentary room cleaning even for 1 week stay. Would stay closer to shops next time or book apartment room with kitchen for lunch and dinners.

Had a great stay loved the pool area and our apartment. Fresh towels would have been nice after a couple of days, great location we walked everywhere. Self catering apartment only bare minimum of dishwashing liquid etc provided.

Good clean hotel, friendly staff, good site near beach and just ten minutes from town centre. Family orientated hotel. Had everything we needed. Would recommend to fellow travellers. Good base for exploring Barrier Reef.

We loved it, very nice kitchen apartment, great view of the pool, good light, roomy, close to beach, close to Macrossan, and friendly helpful staff. We were there 7 nights, only one night did we have yahoos making noise but not sure what a hotel can do about that? Only minor criticism is the TV movie consol was not working,...

We had a wonderful 8 day stay. Great position. Nice walk 15 minute into town. The beach only a short walk along the path. Great friendly and helpful staff. Lovely pool to relax by. Nice drinks by the pool in the afternoon. We will be back.

The overall feel was lovely! Entry, pool etc was nice - and in a really great spot near town :). Although room was a touch rundown, no soaps etc on arrival in room, and thought for the price we would perhaps have an iron in the room, too. We didn't mind too much, but the one iron that is available...

Nice relaxing resort.,Clean, nice breakfast and a short stroll down the beach to the town centre. Great pool. It would have been nice to have a balcony which we didn't clarify when we booked, but for the price it was excellent.

Enjoyed our stay in Port Douglas. Mantra portsea could improve in a few areas. They don't clean the rooms or change the beds unless you stay for 8 nights or more..that is a little long. Think it could really be done after 3-4 nights. It's part of the enjoyment of staying in hotels and resorts..fresh sheets! Breaky was excellent! Staff...
