I stayed here with a friend for about a week when visiting Port Douglas. It was a great couple of days. The service was so good - Tom is such a hospitable fellow, so friendly and helpful. The room was great - huge with a small outdoors area with table and chairs. The kitchen was great and we cooked every...

A great hostel, one of the best we stayed in on the East Coast! Rooms were clean and spacious, the hostel itself was well equipped with lots of different places to sit etc, a pool, table tennis activities and good wifi!

Spent a great 2 nights at Coral Beach lodge. Room was clean and had excellent air conditioning, staff and travellers were very friendly and the whole place had a really relaxed atmosphere. Easy walk down to the marina for boat trips. Would definitely stay again.

If you want to chill out after amazing tours to the reef or the rainforest and meet fantastic people, Coral Beach Lodge is the place to go. Plenty of spaces to hang around, clean rooms, amazing staff and other guests as well as the beautiful pool, these are just a few reasons for that. Don't even bother looking for a...

Not a great place to stay. The location is not good as it is a pretty good walk from town. Reception stops really early in the night. The WiFi works well. They are fairly strict on partying too. Although, they do have decent size lockers so you can lock your stuff up at night.

Dear Wandering6969, I guess your name says it all. You are an immature brat who should not be allowed out without a minder. We are NOT a party hostel, we are a place to chill out after a wonderful day's hiking in the rainforest or diving on the Great Barrier Reef. This is why guests love Coral Beach Lodge and...

I had a great week staying and could have stayed another week. The amenities are first class. So close to the Marina for bars restaurants and trips on the ocean. The hostel is well run and the staff extremely caring and helpful.

I stayed in the 4 bed female dorm in Mid November. The staff here is really friendly. the rooms are extremely clean. The ensuite bathrooms are really nice, with excellent showers. The pool and common room areas are well looked after and nice on a hot day. The only down sides to this hostel is that they do not organize...

We had an excellent stay. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet... nothing to fault. We stayed in a twin room and it was more like a motel room than a hostel room. Would definitely recommend and will stay again next time I visit Port Douglas.

I was at the hostel in August, during a round-the-world trip. The place is nice, you can have fun with the facilities (ping-pong, billiards) and the staff is great. Tom is what you would expect from a hostel manager, friendly and helpful. But not also him, because the rest of the staff is also great, even when you feel they...

What can I say... I simply loved it!, staff were so very friendly and helpful (excellent recommendations on what to do or not on our way to Cape Tribulation), the dorm was in good condition, the common areas were equipped with everything you need, and the price was fair and affordable. Will definitely come back if I need to.
