Very nice, older, small hotel, fabulous location right on the beach, virtually every restaurant in town within walking distance. Excellent customer service. Washer and drier available to guests, useful in the middle of long trips. Internet service is barely adequate – plan most web activities for another location. Very good breakfast included.

Stayed in an excellent room for 4 nights in this beautiful property located a short walk from town and just across the road from the beach. Staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was quite good and dinners excellent. The hotel design is very creative and a wonderful change of pace from the boxy high-rise buildings. The availability of a washer &...

Wonderful hotel, opposite beach in Port Douglas. Rooms spacious and equipped to high standard. We found a couple of minor problems when we checked into the room, but they were fully rectified within one hour of reporting to reception. Buffet breakfast is served outside by pool, with good selection of hot and cold items. Hotel restaurant served excellent evening meals....

This is a great little hotel with a lovely pool and good rooms. We had a suite that had a nice sitting area. little kitchen and balcony to three sides so that there was always sun on the room. We ate in th restaurant one night and the food (surf and turf) was good and fresh and reasonably priced. The...

The Peninsula Boutiique Hotel has an ideal location right at the beach in Port Douglas. Location is an easy stroll to all the restaurants and attractions. The beach is perfect for long walks or sun bathing. The rooms were very large almost like suites including large patios. Our room and patio overlooked the beautiful pool and gardens. Furnishings, bathrooms and...

We have stayed a number of time and this stay was somewhat disappointing. PBH is in a great location, it is clean and a relaxing place to stay. The food in the restaurant is good quality and reasonable value. Breakfast by the pool great and having the beach just across the road a real plus. However, this time round, we...

Dear ndcjsc, Your review comes a such a great surprise and we can only apologize... we are at a loss to explain as we are well renowned for our friendly and outstanding staff and service (as reviews on this site can testify). Both staff members you highlight have since left our employ but regardless, they too were known for their...

We had a lovely room overlooking the beach which was both spacious and comfortable. Separate bedroom with small loungeroom and chairs out on the balcony, perfect for an afternoon cocktail. Extremely good location, minutes from Macrossan Street and metres from the beach. Breakfast by the pool each morning was lovely, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. If we...

From the moment we checked in we enjoyed a warm welcome and a friendly and relaxed stay. The room with balcony overlooking the excellent pool, where breakfast is served had every amenity. The meals in the evening were so good, and the restaurant being in the only hotel overlooking the seafront, we did not venture anywhere else during our three...

We had a very nice beach type suite at this hotel. There is a small living room area with cooktop, frig, small sofa and chair and table with two chairs. We had a balcony with beautiful beach view.
