We expected the grey concrete walls as we had read all the reviews. These Boutique Apartments sounded ideal and understood that we were staying in an apartment of quality. How wrong we were. On Monday we arrived to find there was no reception area and after walking round the outside twice we were greeted by Connie who said she lived... More

When we arrived to a grey concrete looking building we were a bit concerned. Difficult to describe but not particularly attractive. However, on entering the apartment all fears were dispelled. We had a lovely apartment, good air-conditioning, small kitchen facilities but with all we needed and a plunge pool, which we didn't use. We were only there for two nights... More

We spent 2 great nights at Lotus and would recommend them highly if you are on a budget and have a car. Although about 5mins drive out of the main town centre of Port Douglas, Lotus is well located - mere steps from lovely Four Mile Beach and also the highly recommended 'Beach Shack' restaurant. The apartments themselves are spacious... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights from 6th September 2012, this was one of our favourite stops on our road trip up the east coast from Brisbane. We loved it here, Deanna was very welcoming and it was so relaxing. The apartment had everything you'd need, and was new and very comfortable. We loved the Buddah statues... More

I made a last-minute decision to stay overnight at Port Douglas, and found this little gem online. Danielle has done a marvelous job remodeling these 5 apartments and they feel modern and clean. They are built in a very open style, featuring little half-walls separating the various areas. All of the windows have glass shutters which can be opened to... More

Only stayed 1 night wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely clean and new apartment - Balinese influence which we loved. Self contained too - we did eat out though at the Beach Shack where we both had a yummy meal -waitstaff so friendly. Only one minute walk and onto beautiful four mile beach. Will be back longer next time.... More
