This is the second time I have stayed at Turtle Cove. The Pros: The service is outstanding. The staff and the owner go out of their way to make people feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. The location and scenery are amazing. The Cons: The hotel is dated. Same rooms as when I was there 10 years ago. And the...

Thanks for your comments I am sorry that your Oriental Duck dish was a tat too spicy for you as I remember. And all beach front rooms are finished and upgraded, the second time since the new owners purchased the resort only 7 years ago. And we started all other rooms already, but it's a bit tricky as they often...

Am visiting this website to take a trip down memory lane. Might have already reviewed. Stayed here for the first week of January, 2000, with my now ex-partner, when we were young and pretty. Wish I were more promiscuous back then! It looks nearly identical to what I remember, but maybe more manicured grounds. Very relaxing, fun stay. The highlights...

What a spectacular location. The rooms are good and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The beach location is lovely and you can easily spend an afternoon soaking up the sun and the sights ;) The cocktails are strong so be be careful! You get your monies worth there. Lots of friendly people and a fun time.

Turtle Cove can only be described as a fantastic get away, a place you can relax and just be yourself. The staff are extremely friendly, the service fantastic and the hospitality shown by the owners makes you feel right at home - to the point it is a struggle to leave. Along with my partner, we found the atmosphere friendly...

A weekend to relax, sit and watch the ocean, chat and laugh with other guests. The atmosphere created by the staff is amazing. Great food, excellent service. The location is secluded and you could be a million miles for anywhere. To wake with the sound of the ocean forces a relaxed mindset. Unlike other resorts people actually talk to one...

This was our first time at Turtle Cove, but not our first time in Cairns/Port Douglas. Since we had been to this area before we didn't need to see the sights, so we just sat around the pool and relaxed on the beach for four days. We have never done "nothing" on our holidays before, and we really had a...

We had an amazing 3-night stay at Turtle Cove. It is a beautiful and private spot, with a dedicated beach, pool and spa. The beachfront villas come with everything you need, and have a fantastic outlook over the grass and palm trees. It's an easy 20-minute drive into Port Douglas but we spent most of our time just hanging out...

Our third time at Turtle Cove, we brought with us 4 friends this time. Turtle Cove is always wonderful and I hope it never changes! Staff are friendly and relaxed, only issue was a cold spa for one night which was promptly fixed. Love the exclusivity of the place and the relaxed atmosphere. Kudos to Bert!

This is still our annual holiday being the 5th year running. The service is great and the resort suits our needs for having a relaxing holiday by the beach. As usual, the food was good and a good choice for dinner to choose from. I'm sure we will be heading back for a 6th year next year.
